Warren Sapp & Florence Henderson to be on DWTS!!!

Warren Sapp is the newest buzz on the DWTS cast list. The former defensive tackle played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Oakland Raiders. Sapp is a brave choice for the show given his macho tendency for verbal outbursts and aggressive playing style. He was once ejected from a game for unsportsmanlike behavior for “bumping” a referee. Sapp denied the allegation. Sounds like a fun season-and I thought Shannon Elizabeth had a bad attitude!!! Sapp’s participation was confirmed by John Madden, Tiki Barber, Jerome Bettis, Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth of NBC’s “Football Night In America” squad during their appearance at the Television Critics Association press tour last week in Beverly Hills. Madden even predicted that Warren Sapp would win the whole show. I’ve got some doubts, Warren Sapp is a big, big guy…that did not help Penn Jillette much last season.
Also, (allegedly) confirmed for the new season (which begins Monday, September 22 from 8PM to 10 PM ET. A special performance will also air on Tuesday, Sept. 23 from 9 PM to 11 PM, and the first results show will air on Wednesday, September 24 frp, 9 PM to 10 PM.) Is former Brady Bunch mom and Wesson Oil hawker Florence Henderson. She rounds out the cougar category for the season. I wonder which other Brady alum will be in the audience! I would be more excited about this but the Brady clan seems to be everywhere these days!!

Is the stage big enough for Kim Kardashian??

As you may have heard the big rumor is that Kim Kardashian may be joining DWTS, which premieres on Monday, September 22 from 8 PM to 10 PM ET. Kim who (as Joel McHale says) is known for having a big ass and a sex tape, is also no stranger to reality TV. She and her gackle of misbehaving family members have their own show on E! called Keeping Up With The Kardashians. In addition to Kim being catty and sleazy the program gives viewers a rare glimpse into the permantly damaged face of Bruce Jenner. I heard it was a horrible wind tunnel accident…wait no, it was a face lift. He must have the same plastic surgeon as Priscilla Presley!
I’m not much of a fan of these celeb-utantes. They behave badly and usually have no skills…or brains for that matter. However, if DWTS bring Sir-Mix-A-Lot to the show for a live rendition of “Baby Got Back.” I swear I will fly Alyssa and I out to see the performance. That’s a promise folks.
OK, the joke of the day: You know what is the best thing about Kim Kardashian being on DWTS? Cameron Mathison will no longer be the biggest ass to appear on the show! Hee hee, man I hope the rumors are true!
Jason Taylor Cha Cha Cha’s out of Miami

Recent contestant and all around nice guy, Jason Taylor has been traded from the Miami Dolphins to the Washington Redskins. Taylor made waves with Dolphins head coach, and all around grumpy-man, Bill Parcells by appearing on Dancing With The Stars instead of attending off season training.
The six time Pro Bowler and defensive end, Taylor had hoped that the DWTS would lead to a “The Rock” like Hollywood career. So far, that career has not transpired. Let’s not count him out just yet though, with his good looks and charming personality I doubt the Washington Redskins is the end of the line for Mr. Taylor!
Wondering who this season’s Jason Taylor will be? The wait is almost over, Dancing With The Stars 7 will premiere on Monday, September 22 from 8 PM to 10 PM ET. A special performance show will also air on Tuesday, September 23 from 9 PM to 11 PM, and the first results show will air on Wednesday, September 24 from 9 PM to 10 PM. WOO HOO!!
Lance Bass to Dance on DWTS…with a man???

The big news on DWTS today is that former ‘N Syncer and recently out Lance Bass will appear on the fall season of Dancing With The Stars. Exciting, but not a totally surprising choice. Ever since Drew Lachey danced into our hearts the boy banders have been a staple on the show. Fellow ‘N Sync pal Joey Fatone is a former contestant and Mario from last season easily falls into the boy band category.
That’s not all that is the news though, apparently ABC executives are wrestling with whether the openly gay celeb should have a male of or a female partner. Let me tell you that I love the gays-but seriously having an all male couple would make this show a complete joke. For starters part of the excitement of the show is the interplay between the male and the female. The swirl of those skirts around the tuxedoed legs. All that passion…just thinking about it makes me miss Helio…anywho. I’m just saying that unless Mr. Bass is paired up with a professional male dancer dressed in drag, I just don’t see how it would work. I’m also fairly certain that there are no same-sex couples in real ballroom dancing so why would there be here?
On a humorous note one of the articles I read about Lance Bass and DWTS had him with a picture of Mark Ballas. This is funny considering his highly publicized relationship with Sabrina Bryan…or is she just a beard??? What do you think should Lance dance with a male or a female?
