Albert Reed believes DWTS is a popularity contest

Albert Reed appeared on Jimmy Kimmel after he got voted off. He thinks there’s lots of politics involved and popularity plays a big part in it. Jimmy Kimmel couldn’t believe that Mark Cuban didn’t go before Albert. Jimmy then went on to ask Albert who he thought should have went before him. He won’t answer and says the real PC answers. “I had a great time!” was his response.

Jimmy asked him how he got on the show and Albert responded that he was called to do the show that he doesn’t have cable and is against reality TV.  Jimmy asked him if he made all that stuff up about his grandpa for sympathy.  Albert states it was all real and “I guess the sympathy didn’t quite work.” Albert was happy that he dropped 2 pants sizes and suggested Jimmy try it out sometime.

It was a very short appearance and really we couldn’t hear much of Albert since Jimmy was talking practically the whole time while Sandra Oh (Grey’s Anatomy), his first guest was snickering off to the side which by the way was really distracting. Albert was as cool as cucumber though and really gave it back to Jimmy at times. Hopefully this will turn into something for Albert, or not.
