Dancing with the Stars Episode 10

Posted By: admin On: May 25, 2010 Comments: ( 1 )

Well it has come down to this - our final three of Erin Andrews, Nicole Scherzinger, and Evan Lysacek. Who will prevail victorious in this 10th season of competition? All I know is that I plan on voting and it all hinges on tonight. These are my favorite three out of the bunch so voting for me will be difficult. Tonight’s performances must be spot on to get my vote.

First impressions: Erin is showing mucho tummy tonight in orange sparkles. Maks is in an orange vest with nothing underneath and its hot! Evan in a tux and Anna looks like a piano. Nicole is in red looks like lingerie with long flowing sleeves. Derek is in a tux w/o a jacket and his tie is undone.  Wonder if they have the Samba.

First up the stars will compete in a second chance dance. The judges evidentally picked the dance that they were supposed to do well, but ended up not doing so hot in. I guess this means they get a second chance to try to perfect it.  Second round of competition is the free style and that is usually my favorite part. It really shows what each couple of made of and their true style.

Dancing first is Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovksiy. Bruno visits them and teaches them Samba techniques. He wants them to work on the hip action and that she does. She gets upset about his vest being open — it was obviously a play on Len.  She has nice hip action and her turns are good. Wow she went out there had fun and let it all hang loose. They ended at the judges table where she shook her hair all around Bruno and ended with them both kissing Len on the cheek. Awww. Len thanks Maks for not taking his clothes off and thought the improvement was fantastic. Bruno’s head is still shaking. Carrie Ann said she moved herself up three notches. Yayy! Scores are 2 10’s and a 9 from Bruno for a 29 out of 30.

Evan Lysaeck and Anna Trebunskaya are being visited by Len. Len is focusing on the chemistry b/w the two. They are dancing the Viennese Waltz. He is connecting with Anna more here and smiling which is good. They are in unison and gliding across the floor. I thought it was a great performance. Bruno loved the fluidity and their hold - he liked the connection. Carrie Ann pointed out the first time and all the problems - she said this time all of that was gone. She loved it. Len loved the elegance, but said he collapsed a bit on his standing leg due to so much movement. Scores were 10 from Carrie Ann and 2 9’s from the other two for a total of 28 out of 30.

The Rumba is the redemption dance for Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough. Carrie Ann wants to see her vulnerability and emotional quality in this dance. She starts off by doing the splits and they are magnificent. They dance to Lady in Red. Derek takes her hair out of the clip and she is letting it flow. She is now doing an Edyta move where she slowly puts her leg up in the air all sexy like. This is super sexified! I love it! Oh good lawdy - the ending trick was something you’d see out of cirque de soleil. She is balancing on his body with one leg. I can’t even describe it. I freakin loved this! I smell all 10’s. What an awesome night of competition!  Carrie Ann said it was the most mesmerizing and couldn’t take her eyes off of them, but called out the lift. She is annoying as hell.  Apparently they can do a lift as long as the music is done. Len is looking at CA like she’s lost her mind. Derek is fighting back stating he was conscious about it. I just rewound it and Carrie Ann is right…but Derek couldn’t hear it b/c of the crown cheering so loud. Len loved the choreography, but said there was a little lack of confidence here and there still, but it was great. Bruno said it was superlative amongst other things. Scores were 2 9’s and a 10 from Bruno for a total of 28 out of 30. Derek finally owned up to the “lift”. Whatevs!

Erin and Maks are up doing their freestyle. Maks brings in Mandy Moore a choreographer from So You Think You Can Dance. I’m a huge fan of Mandy Moore and her use of props. They start on a prop - a couch. Yayy! They dance to one of my favorite songs - Alone by Heart. Now a bed is a prop in the middle of the floor. She was like clay in his hands - flipping her around here and there.  She looked vulnerable. This was romantic, but also violent at times. It was good though..nice use of props and I think it suited them as a couple - a real couple. Len said they took and enormous risk and they pulled it off in parts - it was a mix of emotion and commotion. He liked it but didn’t love it. Bruno called it a psycho drama out there and she put her heart/soul into it. He said some of the steps were quite incredible. Carrie Ann loved the choice and loved how they both took a risk - she pointed out a little blunder about the bed toss. Scores were 2 9’s and an 8 from Len for a 26 out of 30. Damn that Len!

Next up in their freestyle is Evan and Anna.  Evan and Anna are arguing in practice b/c he says her choreography isn’t going to top anyone. She is crying because she is feeling the pressure on coming up with the moves. She is scared - and I don’t blame her b/c she’s never been in this position before. Anna brings in another choreographer Bobby Newbury (never heard of him). Dang in previous years the choreographers never brought in anyone else - wonder if they changed the rules this year? They get down to Footloose. All I can say after all of that is WOW! It was a jive mixed with just FUN! What a blast that was to watch. I believe they will get all 10’s here!  Bruno said Evan was demented - he didn’t know if he was watching Footloose or Screw Loose. Bruno said as he was jumping around he lost precision and slickness, but he went for it though. Carrie Ann called it odd (what?) - she said they were dancing 2 separate dances when they were side by side, but liked the lift. Len said it wasn’t what he wanted to see. WHAT? Scores were all 8’s for a 24 out of 30. I don’t get it - the freestyle is a FREE STYLE! I’m appalled!

Last up in the freestyle round is Nicole and Derek. He feels the pressure too and wants to push himself to the limits. See, Derek does NOT need to bring in another choreographer. They are going to have a lift packed routine I can already feel it. She is in pants and green shoes and it matches Derek. They dance to A little Less Conversation by Elvis. They were doing Elvis moves, jives, hip hop and a lift at the end that was a bit messed up. Nicole’s pants did come off to reveal green pants and a skimpy top and Derek took his jacket off. It was fun, but I bet she is kicking herself b/c of that last move. Carrie Ann said it was the freestyle they’ve all been waiting for - calling it a high octane octopus. Len saw Lindy hop, Jive, Salsa and entertainment - he loved it. Bruno said they pushed the bar so high - technically superb but called out the slip. He said it was b/c what they were trying to do has never been done. He called it Ahhh-Maz-Zing! In the red room with Brooke they do the lift they messed up on just to prove they can do it w/o flaws. haha! Scores were all 9’s for a 27 out of 30.

Wow the judges are harsh tonight with the freestyles. I believe if we saw this kind of quality when say Drew Lachey or Emmit Smith won we’d be seeing 10’s. Who am I gonna vote for?  I’m not tellin… Can’t wait for tomorrow night!

Dancing with the Stars Episode 9

Posted By: admin On: May 18, 2010 Comments: ( 1 )

We are down to the final four.  I must say that at this point in time - Chad Ochocinco needs to go. I mean c’mon - he doesn’t even compare to the Nicole’s, Erin’s, and Evan’s of the competition. Let’s get with the program America.

First impressions: Wow Chad and Maks have on the same type of shirts just different colors.  Chad’s is sheer tan and Maks’ is sheer turquoise. Both Cheryl and Erin are in sparkly gowns and look lovely. Evan is in a white tux with black tie. Nicole is in tan/black with red flower in her hair while Derek is in a black suit. They look like they could be ether Tango’ing or Paso Doble’ing tonight. Tonight the stars will have to dance a solo. Tom had to interrupt the crowd’s clapping and tell us that each of the four couples left have LED in the viewer votes.  What? Chad/Cheryl has led in the viewer votes? I don’t believe that. Whatev.

First up is Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy dancing the Viennese Waltz. They are dancing to one of my favorite songs by Josh Groban called “February Song.” Oh and my bad, she is wearing pants that look like a  flowing dress.  She looks stunning so far - very graceful and stunning lines. I thought it was a very touching performance. Great job! Erin doesn’t look too happy, but maybe I am reading her wrong. Len said that the fight for the finals starts now, the door is open and they just made a giant step through the door. Bruno said it was like a symphony in blue, overall wonderful but a tiny stumble in the turn. Carrie Ann said each week she grows and said to pull it back together for the next dance as she could tell she was nervous in her ankles. Scores were all 9’s for a 27 out of 30. Bruno accidentally held up a 10 paddle but said 9. It was truly a 9 score.  Tom explained it as Bruno having an premature paddle. haha!

Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough are up next. He is hurt this week with a neck injury and things look bleak here.  They have the Argentine Tango. They do a lift where she is tangled up in his legs and he walks down the steps - very sexy. He doesn’t look hurt to me. Hmmm. Wow love the footwork here and the many lifts. This is hot! At one point she puts her foot on top of his and he lifts her up. The spin trick at the end was amazing! Wow - I see perfect scores here! Loved it! It was hot and sexy! Bruno said she used each move to drive us deeper into a love spell. Carrie Ann was brought to tears because it was so profound - and its been a long time. Nicole and C.A. hug. Len said all he can say is “it was more delicious than my grandmother’s apple pie.” That’s the best compliment he can give. Scores were all 10’s for a perfect 30.

Dancing next is Chad Ochocinco and Cheryl Burke. He is very frustrated in rehearsals. They have the waltz right now. I’m not a big waltz fan, but this was kinda nice.  I thought it was pretty. Carrie Ann said he just nailed the waltz. She wondered where he came from with new posture and elegance. Len doesn’t know where to start since he doesn’t have any dance experience at all - he thought it was fantastic. Bruno said he’s received the most criticism so far and tonight he showed it to them. Scores were all 9’s for a 27 out of 30.

Last up in this round is Evan Lysacek and Anna Trebunskaya dancing the foxtrot. He works on smiling and enjoying this performance. He did a great solo full of leaps and such. They look like they are dancing in the rain here - this is very entertaining. Ya know, like they are jumping in puddles without  care in the world. That was fun and I’m glad he had so much fun. Len said we saw a completely different side which was nice. Bruno said he is as high as a kite among other things. Carrie Ann said she completely felt the connection tonight and thanked him for listening. Scores were 2 10’s and a 9 from Len for a 29 out of 30.

Erin and Maks are back in the Latin round. We get to see some background on Erin when she was little. We now get to see her discuss her stalker and the video that was posted of her on the Internet. She is doing DWTS so that she doesn’t have to be the victim and to show that this man will not stop her. They are dancing the Paso Doble and they look hot already - she has on knee high stripper boots in black. Her solo was great at the beginning. Maks brings her dress down to reveal a gold cape. Nice. I didn’t see much Paso Doble in this dance but it sure was entertaining and fast. Bruno called her a hot chick with an attitude. He can’t believe the standard of dance he just saw and as he’s talking he cusses which is cut out. He called her amazing and apologized for the snafu. Carrie Ann said “that’s what it feels like to be in your power.” Carrie thought the choreography was beautiful. Len said he doesn’t know what to make of it - he is a traditionalist and didn’t think it was a Paso Doble - he’s confused. Scores were 2 10’s and a 9 from Len. Total in this round 29 out of 30. Grand total 56 out of 60.

Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough are up next in the Latin round dancing the cha cha cha. She starts her solo in a chair dancing around it. They dance to Kiss by Prince. By the way, she’s dressed as Prince in Purple Rain. I’m sorry but I couldn’t take my eyes off of it to even blog. It was THAT good. The ending consisted of her bottom in the air while Derek tapped it right in time with them singing “kiss” and then she flips over. From the sidelines, Bruno loved that as he clapped and it looked like he said “Oh My Gawd.” I loved it! Carrie Ann said it all comes so natural even though she knows it really doesn’t. Len thought the solo showed off her talent and not the cha cha cha - he thinks she needs to be in the finals. Bruno said she is the sexylicious purple queen of the cha cha cha. Scores were 2 10’s and a 9 from Len for a total of 29 out of 30. Grand total 59 out of 60.

Chad Ochocinco and Cheryl Burke are dancing the Samba and Cheryl opens up his top revealing his sexy self. Cheryl finally takes his entire shirt off while he does his solo which is very inappropriate according to Len’s standards. ha! I thought it was good - great? no. Len doesn’t understand why the shirts have to come off when we do the Samba - but said his chest is kind of like his own (Len’s) just a few more tats..ha! He thought he had the toughest Latin dance and thought he did a great job. Bruno said he got it right tonight and he had fun with it. Carrie Ann said his technique hasn’t matured like everyone else house, but he loved the charisma of it. Scores were 2 8’s and a 9 from Bruno for a total of 25 out of 30. Grand total is 52 out of 60.

Evan Lysacek and Anna Trebunskaya finish up this round and the show tonight with a Paso Doble. He removes Anna’s skirt/cape and does some solo work with it and lots of jumps. I must say his solo is probably one of the best looking AND characterizes the dance. This is fantastic! I am rewinding it to watch again. WOW I LOVED THAT!!! He kissed her hard and left her lying there on the floor. Absolutely AMAZING! Bruno said it was strong and artistic among other things (something about him having balls). Carrie Ann loved his powerful movements and she demonstrated all over the place. She loved it. Len called it the man’s dance as the man should dominate and how difficult it is - he said he did it - attacked it with aggression. Scores were all 10’s for a perfect 30. Grand total 59 out of 60. Woot!

I thought tonight was an amazing show. Probably the best all season. I hope Chad goes, but I must say he was MUCH better than I thought he would be tonight so props to you, Chad Ochocinco. Who do you think will go tomorrow?

Dancing with the Stars Episode 8

Posted By: admin On: May 11, 2010 Comments: ( 1 )

We’re back and its 2 hours tonight. I’m not sure how much I can type given that I’ve had too much to drink, its my birthday (go shawty), and its freakin a 2 hour show. Couples will be doing 2 dances tonight. Can I make it through? This might be a very short blog tonight - I do apologize in advance. Is it just me or does Tom and Brooke sound muffled?

First impressions (last forever, ya know): everyone is sparkling and bejeweled tonight. I think Erin Andrews really stands out in a form fitting red/black get up. Very pretty.  You will just have to watch with your own eyes to see what else everyone else is wearing. Now we get a breakdown of each stars weakness/strength…nothing worth reporting.

First up is Chad Ochocinco and Cheryl Burke dancing the tango. He’s got the Tango face going on (looking like it hurts). Chad looks awkward at times and his knees look too bent. I was not impressed. Len said learning 2 dances in a week really shows any imperfections - and that’s what’s happened to Chad. Bruno said he went for the emotional involvement but it needs to be slicker. Carrie Ann loved the intensity and attack, but the dance as a unit was missing.Whatever that means, Carrie Ann. Scores were 7’s for a 21 out of 30.

Niecy Nash and Louis Van Amstel have the Viennese Waltz and she’s all decked out in peach. The top part is all sparkly and the bottom feathery. They dance to “I got you, babe. She looks very light on here feet and has nice turns. She looks very happy during this dance  - and very comfy on the dance floor. Louis used her as a dust mop at the end and then flung her out and kissed her cheek. I thought they did well - very cute and entertaining. Bruno was laughing about her polishing the floor - ha! He was making fun of her arm at the beginning in how she was swinging it - I agree with that. Carrie Ann thought there was too much push/pull and the transitions were not there. Len was pleasantly surprised. Scores were 1 7 from CA and 2 8’s for a 23 out of 30.

Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are up next and she is scared to death of jumping off the stage. Better get over that quick. They are dancing the Argentine Tango and its already starting off hot and steamy.  Her legs are amazing and her jump off the stage was amazing as HELL! Her leg went onto his shoulder. The only thing I’m not digging is her head is too much on his shoulder. It ended very abruptly. They high-fived each other and Maks looks so pleased with it. Carrie Ann kisses Len saying it was just so Hot - she said finally and her legs were showcased. She thought it was fantastic. Len called her a dirty, dirty girl - he absolutely loved it! Bruno didn’t know she could be so bendy - loved her extension. He thought she was on fire. Scores were 2 9’s and a 10 from Len. WOW Len! 28 out of 30.

Evan Lysacek and Anna Trebunskaya have the waltz and he loves the fact that there is no hip action. She calls him out as being cold sometimes and in this dance she wants him to be more warm.  They start by lying on the floor. They look great together  - nice rise and fall. This is very emotional and dramatic. They dance to “Open Arms.” I thought it was beautiful! Len wasn’t sure if he liked it or not (huh?). He didn’t like the roly poly stuff on the floor, but his posture was great, good footwork - he’s in a state of flux though. Bruno called them Romeo and Juliet reawakened. He loved the beauty of his top half. Carrie Ann said his lines are impeccable and was mesmerize. She wants him to lose himself in the moment. Scores were all 9’s for a 27 out of 30.

Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough are up next. She is crying in practice b/c of the pressure of the 2 dances. They have the foxtrot right now dancing to Michael Buble. They start on a bench reading newspapers. They are so cute together. This dance is super cute.  They end up back on the bench reading the newspaper. Very cute - nice hold and I really loved the dancing out of hold too.  Bruno said it was 1.5 minutes of per dancing joy. Carrie Ann loves to see her smiling again - she loves how they are challenging themselves. Len thought it was an irresistible love story. Scores were 2 10’s and a 9 from Len for a 29 out of 30.

Now we are watching 2 futuristic dancers who were kicked out of some competition for being too edgy. He certainly has the robot down that’s for sure. They are all silver including their face and hair.

Chad and Cheryl have the 60’s jive for the latin round. They are dancing to “Love Man.” He looks like a pimp and Cheryl his hooker. A go-go hooker. ha! It has a lot of energy - not a lot of kicks though. His flicks could be sharper, but this dance was a lot of fun.  Len said the same as I said. Bruno said it was great to see him smiling, but he needed more kicks/flicks. Carrie Ann thought it was groovy and great. Scores were all 8’s for a 24 out of 30.

Paso Doble-ing like its 1990 is Niecy Nash and Louis Van Amstel. They start up in front of the red room - Niecy grabs for the disco ball hanging from the ceiling. They dance to “Rhythm is a dancer.” So far so good. I really liked what she did with her skirt. Ok at times I got goosebumps because it was so good. I thought she did GREAT here! Loved the music and choreography! Bruno called her a scary mama, but thought it was an avalanche - saying it looked out of control. Carrie Ann gave her a lot of credit for doing more difficult routines, but she felt at first they were bumping into each other and the balance was out of whack. Len said she got through it, but that this dance did not suit her personality. Boo - I thought it was quite good. Scores were 2 7’s and a 6 from Len for a 20 out of 30.

Erin and Maks have an 80’s rhumba. He dressed like Don Johnson in Miami Vice and she is in Flashdance attire. They dance to “Missing you” - love this song. She has on purple leg warmers (love them!). Could Maks pants be up any further? ha! The only problem I saw here was that it didn’t include anything 80’s in it besides the clothes. She did a nice leg trick at the end (very tricky) and some piece of clothing came off.  Carrie Ann said that she can tell she is doubting herself. Len thought the whole thing was jerky. Bruno thought they make great music together - he thinks they should be in the final. Scores were 2 8’s and a 9 for a 25 out of 30.

Evan Lysacek and Anna Trebunskaya have a futuristic Cha Cha. Evan does this cute robot voice and it makes me laugh b/c its so cute. He’s got nice hips and b/c the face is not supposed to have emotion - this suits him well. I thought it was cute - was it a cha cha? I’m not so sure. Was it? I don’t get the blank paint on his face and down his neck. Anna is scantly clad. Len is confused b/c of the lack of fluidity (due to the futuristic nature) and something else he is confused about. Too tired to rewind it. Bruno called it Cha Cha Trek the Next Generation - he thought it was inventive and creative. Carrie Ann thought he was much more committed to his character - she thought it was lucky that he drew the futuristic dance b/c it was very stick-like. Scores were 2 9’s and an 8 from Len for a 26 out of 30.

Dance Center is taking place in the restroom behind closed stalls. Gah, I just love Dance Center! You see them with their pants down to their ankles talking about Evan’s futuristic dance. ahaha!

Finishing up the show is Nicole and Derek with a 50’s style Paso Doble. Derek is confused at how they are going to do a 50’s Paso. He is having a difficult time choreographing this. They look like they are incorporating it pretty well. I see some Elvis infusion in it. I honestly could NOT take my eyes off this. That was brilliant! Bruno said some stuff - and it boils down to him loving it. Carrie Ann doesn’t even know what to say - she wonders how they did that. Len said it isnt in his nature to be nice about 2 dances in one night - he couldn’t find anything to criticize. Scores were (probably all 10’s if I had to guess) all 10’s for a 30 out of 30.

Easy peasy - Chad/Niecy bottom 2. I think Chad just might go.

Dancing with the Stars Episode 7

Posted By: admin On: May 4, 2010 Comments: ( 1 )

Starting off with first impressions tonight…

Chad and Cheryl are all in white.  He is in sheer with a low button showing his lovely sculpted chest-al region. The shirt comes down past his booty - a costume ploy so the judges don’t see his booty sticking out. Hmmm?  Erin Andrews is all sparkles tonight in tan and black - there isn’t an inch of dress that doesn’t sparkle. Niecy is in white with fur at the top. Louis in a gray tux. Evan and Anna also in tan/black. Hers is a bit less sparkly.  Am I spotting a trend here? White costumes and then tan/black costumes. What’s the occasion?  Nicole is in white as well - she looks like a princess also shimmering. Ok, Pam broke the trend - she is in pink. She looks stunning tonight.

First up tonight is Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. We get a flashback of last week with Len letting Maks have it about the shirts coming off.  According to Maks they are doing a proper quickstep according to Len, however, Maks now states he wants to have his pants ripped off and he wants to rip her skirt off.  They are arguing about it because she wants to do what Len wants. They start off in hold, but then quickly get out of hold to rip off their clothes. She rips his jacket off, flips it inside out, and then puts it back on him. He rips his pants off to reveal pink pants. She rips her dress off and has pink on too.  It is all quite classy - there is no skin showing. However, it did mess up her timing trying to get on the beat. Len will probably comment on that.  Footwork looks complicated and she is keeping up. I thought they did great actually. Very bouncy, fast, and entertaining indeed. Len thought the start was fine and thought it was Erin’s best dance by far. Bruno thought it was slick, lightening fast and brighter than Len’s tie. Her shoulders are slightly tensed, but brilliant. Tom told Len that he looked like he got dressed at Pixar to which Len responded with “He looks like he is going to a funeral with fairy lights on.” referring to Bruno - ha! I think Bruno looks very sheik.  Carrie Ann loved the lines - saying it was fantastic. Scores were all 9’s for a 27 out of 30.

Chad Ochocinco and Cheryl Burke (its her b-day) have the Viennese Waltz. Cheryl brought in Tony Dovolani to help them master the technique. We will see if it helps. One thing Tony was teaching was about how important hand extension was and his hand is not extending out as far as it could be. Cheryl seems to like it, but I was rather bored myself. It isn’t because of not liking Chad because I like him, but I’m just not interested in this dance. Bruno said he was a gentle giant here, but to extend his lines through his fingers (I said that didn’t I?). Carrie Ann agrees with Bruno and said there was nothing sexier than watching a man figure out how to be tender. Len said his arms were full of fluidity and tonight he became a contender. Maybe I just don’t care for the Viennese Waltz. I don’t know.  BTW, Chad gave her a diamond necklace today for her birthday. Brooke asks us if there is anything we should know and Cheryl responded with “Now you know how hard I have to work with Chad; he feels sorry for me.” I personally think they are doing the horizontal Mambo.  Scores were 2 8’s and a 9 from Len for a total of 25 out of 30.

Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough dance the waltz to the tune of “You Light Up My Life.” This song is Nicole’s aunts favorite songs who has down’s syndrome. She looks gorgeous. Rise and fall is great. It is very fluid and gorgeous. During one of their tricks her leg got entangled with his and there was a misstep to which she kind of giggled a bit. They got back on track though. The ending move was gorgeous. He held her as she laid back spinning on one leg. She went and got lays from her family (including her aunt). Carrie Ann said she is by far the best dancer that’s been on the show. She didn’t feel like they got lost in one  - connection was lacking a bit. Len loved the hold, but there a few technical things which he won’t go into now. Bruno said they are as close as dancing royalty as can be - very difficult routine and they made a few mistakes, but it was amazing. Scores were all 9’s for a 27 out of 30.

Pam Anderson and Damian Whitewood are dancing the Waltz this week. She brings him to the wild life center where she volunteers her time there. They do that first then practice. Not sure why we had to show the whole wild life thing - maybe to give her some substance? I don’t know? I am just NOT digging these waltzes tonight. It was ok - I thought her neck was a bit awkward looking at times, but I saw some grace in there. Len said this was much more quiet and understated - work on firming upper body. Bruno said she was pure tonight, but to improve the top line. Carrie Ann said she saw huge improvement in her legs and really liked the tone of the waltz. Scores were all 8’s for a 24 out of 30.

Up next is Niecy Nash and Louis Van Amstel. They are dancing the Quickstep. Apparently Niecy caught Louis texting and called him out on it. Apparently he was texting Kelly Osbourne (his partner from last season) and Niecy said “you ain’t dancing with Kelly no more.” ahaha! Surprisingly she is light on her feet. They are being all cutesy. I think her elbow needs to be up a little more, but she is keeping up really well and they ended smooth and in control.  I liked it. Niecy said she was gorgeous - saying her footwork was better than ever. Carrie Ann said it was her best dance - everything worked well - incredibly light on her feet. Len agrees with them both and told her to lift her ribcage (she said she has a lot to lift though)..ahaha! Scores were 2 8’s and a 9 from Carrie Ann for a 25 out of 30.

Evan Lysacek and Anna Trebunskaya are Argentine tango-ing this week. He feels like he let her down last week. Awww. I thought he did well last week but the judges did not agree. Let’s hope he can pick it up tonight because he could be in the bottom 2 since everyone is doing so well. He is very rigid which is what this dance calls for. Wow Anna’s leg is on top of his shoulder and he is spinning her around so fast that her other leg is just flying behind. Powerful! I liked it! Carrie Ann said he was the eye of the tiger - he was so focused - so sexy and refined. Len said he was nice on ice and didn’t know if he’d be good on wood. ahaha!  Len has a paddle he hasn’t used in awhile and he is going to dust it off and use it b/c that was fantastic. Bruno said he danced like a true alpha male - he conquered his territory tonight. Scores were all 10’s for a perfect 30 out of 30.

Next up is team dance competition. Up first is Team Gaga (as in Lady Gaga) - Pam, Chad, Nicole on team Gaga. They are cha cha cha’ing. Pam is solo-ing first and she looks a bit disjointed. Her hair keeps getting in her face and it seems to get in the way. She looked really rough here and NOT good. Chad is up next and he is doing pretty good way better than Pam. Bringing up the rear is our front runners - Nicole and Derek. She was AWESOME! Pam was definitely the weak link here, but I thought overall the team did well with being in -sync. Len thought the start and finish were right on it. He couldn’t believe Nicole hasn’t done the cha cha cha yet and can’t wait to see it. Bruno loved the ending sequence and loved how Pam kept up with the two girls.  He thought Chad turned up the heat tonight. Carrie Ann said Pam struggled, but loved the sexual energy the team had. Scores were all 9’s for a 27 out of 30.

Team Madonna is up next consisting of Erin, Niecy, and Evan. Louis said that they needed to start and finish strong and then preceded to say “we’ll be in the middle” haha!  Niecy took offense to that (although in a joking manner) and Maks recovered it saying she will be the center piece. She liked that. ha! Evan is taking tips from Niecy as he has never done the Cha Cha before. She told him to stop looking like a scarecrow with his arms. LOL! The girls have on Material girl outfits. Up first with their solo is Evan and Anna. I just love his skinny legs. His hips are pretty fluid. Louis and Niecy are second and she is shaking what God gave her, but she messed up several times and they ended awkward. Erin is finishing up with Maks they look so cute, but her timing was a bit off here. The ending was great - they were all in sync and the boys took the girls skirts off and they ended up in black body suits. Bruno said it was like a cha cha with a samba feel. Bruno said they lost sync, but I didn’t see it. Carrie Ann wanted to see the ripped skirts much sooner and said there was a problem sync-ing - she called Erin out on her timing. Len wanted to commend them all for learning 2 dances in a week. Tom told Louis he has lipstick on his lips. ha! Scores were all 8’s for a 24 out of 30.

So who is going to be in the bottom 2 tomorrow night? This is a tough one, folks. I am going to say Pamela and Chad. Who do you think should be in the bottom 2?

Dancing with the Stars Episode 6

Posted By: admin On: April 27, 2010 Comments: ( 0 )

Well we are back and I must say I am so glad we don’t have to subject ourselves to Kate any longer. Tonight we have the Samba or the Argentine Tango. I love the Argentine Tango. We also get to see the Swing Dance Marathon where we see the stars/pros dance side by side.

First impressions: Chad and Cheryl must be doing the Argentine Tango b/c they are in black/red..typical.  Erin Andrews is in purple with flesh material.  The purple flowers are covering up her tata’s. Jake must have the Samba because his black shirt is wide open. I do like what I see there, though. ha! Niecy is in black tango attire. Louis in an all white suit. Evan has on a see-through long sleeved white shirt with the front open revealing some hotness right there as well. Owwww!  I am NOT digging Anna’s big curly fro though. She looks like Annie. Nicole and Derek are all red tonight while Pamela/Damian are in black including her hair (wig perhaps?). I must say that hair color does look good on her.  She is looking sexy tonight.

During the swing dance marathon, lifts are allowed. Thanks for telling us, Brooke. We wouldn’t want the lift police, Carrie Ann, to get confused now. First up…. Jake Pavelka and Chelsie Hightower with the Samba.  I like how his face/mouth is so expressive just like a pro. At one point it looks like Chelsie messed up or they just get to close to the judges steps because he almost slips and falls (AGAIN)..what is up with Mr. Clumsy Pants? It couldn’t have happened in a worse location too. It was cute but there is always 1 mistake. It looked like she kind of pulled him down as I rewound it, but who knows? Len thought he showed more confidence and polish, but he needed more rhythm. Bruno thought it also lacked bounce and he didn’t wiggle correctly. Carrie Ann said he pushes himself to the max which causes him to fall, she told him to connect more with the music. Scores were all 7’s for a 21 out of 30.

Evan and Anna are up next dancing the sexy Samba.  We see him in practice where Anna tries to flip him over his back and he comes crashing down on his head.  I’m sure they put in the sound of a bone cracking to create drama, but it looked bad.  We will probably see that later as that footage goes with the group swing dance. Oh and here we see the head bashing - ouch. That makes my neck hurt. He is feeling weird and hoping he doesn’t have a concussion.  The doc said he should be fine, but does have a mild concussion. What a trooper. They start out bootie shaking. WOW HE IS AMAZING! Very light on his feet. He could win this! His lines are gorgeous! I really like him..lots!!  Bruno said he is going to be hard on him, but he said his lyrical lines didn’t work for this dance. Carrie Ann thought he lost the battle with the Samba tonight. Len doesn’t want to be nasty b/c he doesn’t have a nasty bone in his body…he thought it was the worst dance he’s ever done. BOO! I enjoyed it and so did Tom..hmmph! Scores were all 7’s for a 21 out of 30.

Niecy Nash and Louis Van Amstel dance the Argentine Tango this week.  Her boobs are smooshed together and look uncomfy. She starts by taking a rose from Louis’ mouth and then tries to eat a petal and she spits it out and throws the rose to the ground. Her legs are a bit soft at times, but she did manage to put one on top of Louis shoulder. He ends with a cookie (I think) in his hand to which she tries to grab at but does NOT succeed. LOL! Carrie Ann said it was nice to see her dancing - she likes her new attitude this week - thought she was in the zone. Carrie Ann loved they went for the lift. Len liked the comedy and Carrie didn’t think they needed it. Len said it lacked a bit of intensity, but he thought it was good overall. Carrie liked the intensity. Bruno wants her to stay away from his lunchbox. ha! He said her footwork lacked some intensity but he could tell she worked on it. Scores were all 7’s for a 21 out of 30.  Seems to be a popular score tonight!

Erin Andrews and Maksim Chermkovskiy have the Samba - so let’s see some sexy hips, Erin. Wow this is bouncy - I like it. She is sassy in this dance. Maks takes his shirt completely off. Hmm. I had to rewind b/c I am so distracted by his shirt off that I missed the dancing. ha!  WOW I thought that was AWESOME! Brought a big smile to my face. Very fun. I think she is on FIRE-H NOW! Len said from week 1 she has gotten a 7 and she will continue to get one as he is fed up with Maks (the shirts coming off and the gimmicks).  Maks throws his sleeves at him (the sleeves Erin ripped off earlier). Len you need to GIVE IT UP! It was pure entertainment!  Bruno said she danced all the way through it - her arm placement was spot on - it was exciting! Carrie Ann said she NAILED IT! Scores were 2 9’s and a 7 from Len for a 25 out of 30.

Chad Ochocinco and Cheryl Burke have the Argentine Tango this week. She really wants him to lead this dance so we shall see if that happens.  Hmm I don’t know quite what to think about this. It didn’t seem as intense as it should be, but perhaps I was just expecting more. Also I didn’t really care for the music either. Music is big for me.  Bruno said it was strong, powerful, demented - he proved he could dance tonight. Carrie Ann said tonight he nailed it - it was amazing. Len said you either grow or you go - he grew tonight. Scores were all 8’s for a 24 out of 30. Perhaps I missed something here.

Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough have the Samba.  She is having issues over thinking things. Its hard being at the top, isn’t it?  They start off with a bang coming straight at the camera. Love it! Her turns are magnificent as are her hips. It was so much fun that I couldn’t take my eyes off it to blog. The ending with the tricks was perfect! I loved it! Carrie Ann screams Opa! She said it was just ridiculous, but said the only wrong thing she can see is her facial expression (her mouth in the shape of an O). Len said this was a hodge podge of sexy moves and gyrations - this was NOT a SAMBA! Bruno called her a singular sensation - watching her makes him dribble with desire. LOL! Len needs to get his panty out of a bunch. Scores were 1 9 from CA, 10 from Bruno and a 7 from Len for a total of 26 out of 30.

And…here comes Pam who doesn’t want to be in the bottom 2 again. They have the Argentine Tango this week.  Her legs are fabulous by the way. I love this song - its Enjoy the Silence by Depeche Mode Tango Style. Love it! I think it is a bit sloppy - she looks a bit out of her element with this dance. Perhaps it was the choppiness of it that didn’t suit her this dance. I don’t know. It was ok - steamy but ok. Len said it is about seduction - it had a nice smoldering and intensity but a little scraggly at times. Bruno said it was a great character from Pamela - he loves to see her living the part. Carrie Ann said it was sexy, but she wanted to see a little more technique in her legs. Scores were 2 7’s and an 8 from Bruno for a 22 out of 30.

Swing dance marathon is next. Last couple on the floor will receive 10 points, 2nd to the last 9, and so on. This is a traditional ballroom style competition so all couples will be out on the floor flipping, flopping, turning, twisting, etc. Should be fun times!  Everyone looks good - not sure who will be first out. First out - Jake and Chelsie. Hmm. Only get 4 judges points. As I was watching Chad do the splits over Cheryl’s head, I almost missed Louis flipping Niecy around and her landing on his back like a beached whale. I know that is mean, but that is what I thought of.  Niecy and Louis are now out b/c of that flop and they receive 5 judges points. Evan and Anna are now out with 6 points. Chad and Cheryl are out next and receive 7 points. Pam and Damian are now out and receive 8 points. Nicole comes down from a trick and pushes Maks. ha! Erin and Maks are out gaining 9 points which leaves us with Nicole and Derek winning this round for a total of 10 points. Derek always wins this. ha!

So who is in jeopardy?  I think Pam could be going home this week. Bottom 2: Jake/Chelsie and Pam/Damian.

Dancing with the Stars Episode 5

Posted By: admin On: April 20, 2010 Comments: ( 1 )

Will tonight be Kate’s downfall once and for all? We can only hope!  Tonight is movie night by the way.

First impressions: Chad and Cheryl are going to be animalistic with their animal print outfits. Erin Andrews has on a short blonde wig (channeling her inner Uma Thurman from Pulp Fiction, perhaps?).  Jake is in Rumba attire. Read Episode 4 post about what the attire looks like. Although Chelsie is in fringe so maybe they won’t have the Rumba. Niecy Nash is like a ray of sunshine in yellow/orange fringe. Louis has on suspenders.  Evan and Anna are once again skinny as sin. They looks so suave and debonair.  Nicole has her hair all pinned up and is wearing all black while Derek is in a tux.  Kate Gosselin looks gawdy in pink rags.  Pamela Anderson is in pink plaid and boy is it tight.

Niecy Nash and Louis Van Amstel have the Jive. Their movie is La Bamba. She is having fun but isn’t very light on her feet. She is also shaking what God gave her. This was an entertainment piece but it looked like she had a hard time keeping up. She ended by giving Len a huge kiss on his baldy head. There’s a red lipstick mark to prove it. Len said she got her personality out into the dance, but it was a bit soft and needed more bounce in her feet. Bruno said there was so much going on on the upper decks (referring to her boobies), he pointed out where they went wrong (Louis manned up and see he went wrong not her). Carrie Ann said she is the shimmy queen and agreed with the others, but said it was nice to have her back. Scores were all 6’s for an 18 out of 30.

Chad Ochocinco and Cheryl Burke have the Quickstep this week and their movie is Lion King. He looks like he is a bit hunched over at times. They are dancing to Bare Necessities and I must say this is an awkward song to dance to. I thought they did well - I wasn’t blown away, but I think he is improving. Bruno said it was a bit too wild as it lost control - his hold and frame werr terrible. Carrie Ann said it was strange where she saw improvement and then saw him lacking in places - body contact was lacking. Len thought it was lively, better posture, but the big problem was his upper chest needed to stay calm and the bottom half is really working. Scores were all 6’s for a total of 18 out of 30.

Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy have the jive. They are fighting about her shoes - and pretty much find something they disagree about everyday according to Maks. ha!  Their movie is pulp fiction by the way. She is really light and sharp but something weird is going on with her upper half when she is doing her kicks like she is stooping down or hunching over. I also do not like her free arm.  This dance was so fast I’m actually impressed she kept up.  I thought she did much better than last week though. Carrie Ann liked it - she loved the story and how it was delivered.  She said she seemed a little too fast with her feet. Len loved when they started going fast, but said it got a bit hectic at times. Bruno said her Uma magic was just right and this was her best timing ever and she didn’t go wrong once. I must say as a side note that her black spandex pants are very HOT on her little body. Scores are 2 7’s and an 8 from Bruno for a 22 out of 30.

Jake Pavelka and Chelsie Hightower dance the Cha Cha and their movie is Risky Business. Guess he is in Rumba attire for this cha cha. ha! He comes in wearing just a shirt and no pants symbolic of Tom Cruise’s living room dance. Hot stuff right there, folks! Chelsie comes out with his pants to which he quickly puts on.  That is something new we have NEVER seen before. He is messing up the steps a bit. His hips are definitely in it though. I thought it was pretty entertaining. Len loves that he comes out 100% giving his all - he pointed out the mess up, but said it was great fun. Bruno threw money at him - ha - I guess he didn’t want him to put his pants on. He liked it. Carrie Ann said he’s got the guts so enjoy the glory - she loved the whole package. Scores were 2 8’s and a 7 from Len for a 23 out of 30.

Pamela Anderson and Damian Whitewood have the Quickstep to 9-5 where Pam channels her inner Dolly Parton. They have props - table, with typewriter, coffee cup, etc. Not sure Len will like all that stuff taking up a lot of the dance at the beginning. This is a pretty slow quickstep. Her footwork isn’t as precise at it needs to be.  They dance up onto the chair, onto the table, and then down the other chair. Very creative, but I don’t believe it was her best dance. Bruno said her characterization is always spot on all throughout the dance, liked the posture, more movement was needed. Carrie Ann agrees with Bruno said her hold was a bit loosey goosey. Len said couldn’t stand all the stuff at the beginning (go figure) - too much messing around - all that, no Thanks! Scores were 1 8 from Bruno, 1 7 from Carrie Ann, and a 6 from Len for a total of 21 out of 30.

Foxtrotting is Kate Gosselin and Tony Dovolani to Breakfast Club. That’s why she looks gawdy b/c she is wearing 80’s clothes. She is acting all Bitchy again in practice. I wish she’d get with the program or get off the dang show.  He keeps complaining about her energy or lack of - and lack of motivation. Well then why are you on the show?  Oh yeah, the money - that’s why. Whatev! I am NOT looking forward to this even though I love this movie and song. Song is “Don’t You Forget About me.” Oh this is just terrible - just walking around the stage waving her arms. She did do a trick where he caught her neck as she bent back. She did a nice trick at the end too where she spun around and then went through is legs. I was NOT impressed though - ugh! Poor Tony. Carrie Ann  said itty bitty bits of grace are developing, but she can’t complete a full sentence with it as it sounds like the teacher from Charlie Brown. Len said it was neat and precise comparing it to a stroll rather than a dance. Bruno said she was catatonic, he feels like she has gone backwards, it isn’t good enough. I agree! UGH! I’m tired of her! Scores were all 5’s for a 15 out of 30.

Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough have the Tango to Pretty Woman. He strips off her black dress and reveals a red one to resemble the one Julia had on when Richard smacks her hand with the jewelry box. I love that scene still to this day.  She has got this tango down - love the face. She has nice kicks - very sharp and high. The hold is very good. I love the music to this - fits so well. I loved it!   The crowd is going wild. Len thought it was Nicole’s best dance and the best dance of the season so far. Bruno called them 2 players at the top of the game - he is standing up and is all over Len shouting “The pride and power of the tango portrayed to perfection!” Carrie Ann called them Superstars - saying every moment was a snapshot of art. Scores were 2 10’s and a 9 from Len for a 29 out of 30.

Last on the floor is Evan Lysacek and Anna Trebunskaya dancing the Rumba to Armageddon movie. The song is “I don’t want to miss a thing.” He is so damn elegant and tall. I love him! I did not, however, find this Rumba sexy. I thought it was pretty fast, but I still liked it. Bruno said his top lines are just exquisite and his spins are spot on. His hips are getting better, but keep the motion going fluidly. Carrie Ann said something really beautiful was going on caused by the movement. Len said it had artistry, fluidity, saying it was a great job. The only thing I do NOT love about Evan is his hair. He needs to get that mop job did! Scores were all 9’s for a 27 out of 30.

I hope to GAWD, Kate is in trouble this week. So sick of her! I think Chad could be in trouble because of him and Cheryl not having a lot of chemistry this week, Niecy Nash could be in trouble as well. Other than that everyone else was pretty darn good. Thoughts?  I do know my Mom was disgusted with almost everyone but Evan - which I don’t get. She did not elaborate so maybe I can interview her and get her thoughts on what was so disgusting about everyone but Evan.  ha! See ya tomorrow night, folks - where Kate will be sent packing! Here’s to wishful thinking.

Dancing with the Stars Episode 4

Posted By: admin On: April 13, 2010 Comments: ( 1 )

All I know is this better be Kate’s downfall. It should be a night of romance, but it might be a night of extreme raunchiness with Pamela on the show. We get raunchy rumbas and tempting tangos tonight and also this is our very first ever 2-score night (technique score and performance score).

First impressions: Before I begin let me start off by saying that all I have to do is look at the first few costumes to figure out what dances they are gonna do. Can’t we change it up a bit, costume people? Out of the gate are Chad and Cheryl wearing typical Rumba wear which consists of a tan see through top resembling a pajama shirt and brown pants and Cheryl wearing something resembling lingerie although she is a bit more covered up than say Edyta will be. Out comes Erin and Maks and she is in red (typical tango wear) and I don’t know if he is stepping on her dress but she is having issues coming down the steps. Jake and Chelsie must also have the tango b/c she, too, is in red and black. Niecy and Louis are not in typical Rumba wear so at least they changed it up a bit. Evan and Anna are in all black and WOW are they both looking really thin tonight and look perfectly suited as well. Nicole looks like Disney’s Jasmine tonight with some type of headdress on and her hair in a long braid down her left shoulder. And…Derek almost bit it going down the steps. Slick spot? That’s where Erin tripped too. Oh and here comes Edyta scantly clad - now should I be surprised? I mean it looks like she is wrapped in foil and someone cut a big piece out of the middle and let one leg completely out of the wrapping. WTH? No words for Kate - I’m tired of seeing her face. She did have a fake smile on. Pamela is in white and showing the half side of her body and wearing gawd awful turquoise eye shadow. Ugh - why does she always try to kiss Damian on the lips. U know they are doing the horizontal mambo.

Now we get a round table discussion as the judges discuss the contestants in how they will translate into the dances this week. Where do they come up with all this filler stuff? Now Jonathon Roberts and Anna Demidova are showing us a proper tango. Her bottom portion of her dress is a bunch of tulle. They are also showing us the three moves each couple MUST do tonight while the move is named on screen.

Up first is Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy dancing the tangolicious tango. This week we are focusing on footwork to please Len. She is having back problems and didn’t want to tell anyone about it. The doctor came in and put some type of patch on it and she is gonna suck it up and unleash their torrid tango.  Erin starts standing behind Len  and she rubs him down his front. Oooh la la. They dance to Sweet Dreams by the Eurythmics. I love her hgh kicks and her legs are so long and smashing. Intensity is good. There was something odd with her head or her face. I couldn’t quite place it but her upper body didn’t seem strong enough or intense enough.  I did like her high kicks right in front of the judges table though. Len thought the start was brilliant (of course he did)..he appreciated all the content and mentioned she needed to get on her heels as she walks forward. Bruno said the start was really well, but then it went wrong and it seemed like she couldn’t catch the performance or the technique. Carrie Ann said her performance suffered because she was so focused on her technique. Erin told Brooke that her heel got caught in her dress and she was just glad to be standing. So that’s where it went wrong. Ok… Scores for technical: C - 6, L - 6, B - 6 for a total of 18. Scores for performance: C-7, L-7, B-7 for a 21 out of 30 for a grand total of 39 out of 60.

Evan Lysacek and Anna Trebunskaya are dancing the tango this week and he still has broken toes apparently. Evan needs to work on tucking his bum and he can only stomp one foot because of his broken toes. Ouch! That’s all I have to say. She starts on a chair and is looking sexy as heck. I don’t see where he is tucking his bum though. It is really sticking out there. I don’t know - I didn’t think he was strong enough as a leading man here - I thought he was bendy and I am not digging his black Ken doll hair. It was a good dance but it was hard to see the tango in it. Wonder what the judges will say. Bruno said it was strong, powerful with a hint of some type of arrogance. He could tell he worked on the technique. Carrie Ann said the technique and performance were a perfect blend. Len loved how he stepped forward on the heel and it pleased him. Scores for technical: C - 9, L - 8, B - 9 = 26/30. Scores for performance: C - 9, L - 8 , B - 9 = 26/30. Grand total 52 out of 60.

Next round table discussion is about the Rumba and how it translates with the contestants. They are wondering if Pam will go raunchy or the love route. I think she will go raunchy in my opinion. Showing us the proper Rumba and the 3 special moves are Dmitry Chaplin and Kym Johnson wearing nothing but underwear (I am NOT kidding you). And that’s kinda funny but Kym Johnson is the reigning pro champ and she isn’t back defending her title this season. That kind of bites.

Niecy Nash and Louis Van Amstel have to rehearse on the set of “Clean House.” Louis wants Niecy to go back 17 years to when her brother passed away. He wants her to get into a spiritual mindset. We shall see - she could barely keep her eyes open in rehearsals.  They dance to “Taking Chances” by Celine Dion.  I really like her lines and elegance/grace so far. She just needs to move those hips a bit more in the swing out moves and point her toes when she is wrapping her leg around his. Other than that I thought she did great. The ending move was great - she just held on and he leaned over. She went over and hugged a lady in the audience not sure if it was her mom or not. Len thought the opening outs showed beautiful arms. He wanted more hip action though and didn’t see any highlights. He thought it was a bit boring. Bruno said it looked like she was in a trance and it needed more hip action. Carrie Ann loved the tribute part and felt the emotional connection.  She was confused b/c it didn’t read well in the dance. Scores for technical: C -6, L -6 , B -6  = 18/30. Scores for performance: C -6 , L - 6 , B - 6 =18/30. Grand Total = 36/60.

Aiden Turner and Edyta Sliwinska dance the Rumba. Apparently Aiden might be too shy for this Rumba. I would be too if my partner was wrapped in foil and her privates only partially covered.  They dance to Kris Allen’s “Live Like You were Dying.” Edyta is looking beautiful here with her moves, but it looks like he is just throwing his arms out to the side (well his arm AND leg) and just posing while she does all the work. Susan Lucci is up in the audience cheering him on. Carrie Ann said she felt his comfort, but said the movement was generated from the wrong place. Len said he acted out the dance but there was no flow to it - lots of stops/starts.  Bruno said it was like stop motion animation and movement needs to come from the center. Tom said “loved the outfit” and you know he is referring to Edyta’s tin foil barely there outfit.  You are a typical man, Tommy. Scores for technical: C - 5, L - 5 , B - 5 = 15/30 . Scores for performance: C - 6 , L - 6 B - 6 = 18/30. Grand total 33 out of 60.

Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Houghare also Rumba-ing. She is having issues with being romantic with Derek. ha! She, too, is also focusing on technique this week. I am NOT digging her outfit, but she did a twirling move with her arms and it was gorgeous. They dance to “The First Time Ever I saw Your Face.” Her lines are awesome and the romance is amazing.  This has nice continuous flow with slow and fast movements alternating. I think Len will like this proper Rumba.  She slowly lifts her leg in the air and it was HOT! They end like they just might kiss although they don’t. It was HOT! Bruno said she was beautiful to watch but tonight she had stumbles and wasn’t spot on saying her hip action could be more - he needs more sex. Carrie Ann called her out on being nervous saying her ankles were quivering, but she liked the traditional lines. Len loved the balance b/w technique and performance. He didn’t like how her arms were over exaggerated in the “sliding doors” movement. Scores for technical: C - 9 , L - 8 , B - 8 = 25/30.  Scores for performance: C - 8 , L - 8 , B - 9 = 25/30. Grand total 50/60.

Jake Pavelka and Chelsie Hightower are dancing the tango tonight. He shows up to rehearsal with a tee that reads “Turn Up. Keep Up. Shut Up” on the front and on the back “Trust Your Pro.” He is going to now let his guard down and trust Chelsie. He messes up a lot and keeps saying “Dammit.”  Whenever he says he can’t do something he must drop and give her 10. ha! This is pretty fast paced and he has on the “it hurts face” which is unusual for someone not an actor. He is really being the strong lead here which is good. They dance UP the stairs and turn and dance down the stairs and it was pretty freakin amazing!  Dang it - it was so good but he tripped on her dress and went down on his knee and couldn’t keep form. He quickly got back on there and got back into character.”Tis a shame because this was looking like one of his best dances. Despite the almost trip I thought it was GREAT! Len loved how he attacked it and his enthusiasm, but said it started to fall apart with his many incidents. Bruno loved the energy but said it was very, very, very messy (questionable footwork and messy posture). Carrie Ann said his biggest problem is the way he holds her - they aren’t quite connected. Carrie Ann loved the performance tonight. Scores for technical: C - 6 , L - 7, B - 6 = 19/30 . Scores for Performance: C - 7, L - 6, B - 6 = 19/30 . Grand Total 38/60.

Kate Gosselin and Toni Dovolani who needs to go home this week have the Tango this week. She is complaining how she brings all the stuff with her like the custody stuff to rehearsal. She is complaining how she can’t do it and she feels bad for Tony for having her. She is having lots of self doubt. Where was that harsh woman on her TLC show that showed John who was boss? She is nowhere to be found. UGH! So frustrating, annoying, and embarrassing to watch that is for sure. I thought this might be a train wreck but surprisingly the tango movements fit her “style.” The trick at the end was pretty well executed as well but I wonder if the lift police will get on her? Hmmm? Bruno said we are having a mini-breakthrough tonight - stay in the right direction. Technique is really bad but she is finally starting to move out there. Carrie Ann said she is really proud of her and loves her determination - and she did call out the lift.  Len complimented Tony on bringing Kate to dance her best dance so far. Scores for technical: C - 4, L - 5 , B - 5 = 14/30.  Scores for Performance: C - 6, L - 6, B - 6 = 18/30. Grand Total 32 out of 60.

Chad Ochocinco and Cheryl Burke have the sexy Rumba - he wanted to make love on the dance floor. Let’s see if he is really into this. He is shaking his hips and she is texting and not paying attention. ha! Chad is having problems with being romantic. He says it is “all this chocolate!” ahahaha! She points out the ring he gave her..hmmm. This is giving me goosebumps so far. Len has a big smile on his face. It was pretty intense and not in a raunchy way. I thought they did really well. They landed on stage laying on white feathers. Carrie Ann said he turned on the heat - saying this is his best dance by miles. She liked his posture and hip action. Len said improvement in the posture and performance - his best dance. Bruno asked Cheryl what she’s been doing this week - saying the hunk was smoldering this week. He liked the fluidity and lines. Scores for Technical: C - 7, L - 6, B - 8 = 21/30.  Scores for Performance: C - 8, L - 7, B - 8 = 23/30.  Grand Total 44/60.

Pamela Anderson and Damian Whitewood are last up dancing the Rumba.  This should be pretty raunchy. Len already warned her not to get too raunchy with it which is a good warning. We shall see.I already have goosebumps. I think she might be the perfect person to do this dance… To be honest with you I was expecting a raunch fest and I did NOT get that. It was pretty darn classy and romantic. I actually was expecting a bit more, but I still liked it. Len said out of all the girl celebs the spiral step was the best he had seen it. She was a little overdressed but very good. ha! Bruno said it was refined while being drop dead sexy.  Bruno said it was the best dance she’d ever done. Carrie Ann said she felt magic was happening - she said there were strange things happening at times with her arms, but other than that it was very good.  Scores for Technical: C - 7, L - 8, B - 8 = 23/30.  Scores for Performance: C - 8, L - 7, B - 9 = 24/30.  Grand Total 47/60.

Hmmm…I must say that the who will be in the bottom 2 is not real clear cut to me. Perhaps Aiden, Kate, Jake or Erin. I think tonight it was wide open as mistakes were abound.  Who did you like? Who did you hate? Who do you love to hate? haha!

Dancing with the Stars Episode 3

Posted By: admin On: April 6, 2010 Comments: ( 1 )

Tonight the stars must tell a story according to Len. They stated that last episode was the most watched program and I doubt it was tonight with the NCAA championship game on. That’s why I had to DVR DWTS so I could root for my Butler Bulldogs who did not pull it out in the end.  They gave it a great fight though.

First impressions: Chad and Cheryl are in Paso Doble attire. He has on a matador jacket that is all open showing a nice ripped chest and tummy. Erin Andrews and Maks look lovely tonight. I think they make a cute couple. And their are rumors going around that they just might be off the dance floor. Jake is in a brown suit with no tie and Chelsie has on a dark wig kinda reminding me of Cleopatra. Niecy Nash all decked out in peach and I must say Louis looks smashing tonight in the same peach color with a matching peach tie. It looks really good on him.  Evan has on a tux and Anna reminds me Lucille Ball  in an evening gown. Ashly is in purples/blues and Buzz in all medals. I hope he watches out if he spins too fast he might hit himself or Ash in the face. Derek and Nicole are decked out in sailor costumes. Not digging her short curly hair. ugh! Derek looks cute in a little boy way. They have Nicole’s sailor costume really accenting her cleavage. Edyta is showing all of her tummy except one strip down the middle (go figure). Aiden in a suit - blah! Annoying Kate is in red and her hair extensions are back in. Tony in black and red…a familiar costume. Pamela Anderson is in pink with a huge bumpit in her hair. Damian has on a matador costume with his front open showing a nice tanned chest and abs. owwww! It’s like Barbie and Ken. Ok Nicole’s boobs are huge and are about ready to pop outta her costume. And Brooke Burke looks great in black but man she is a stick! Much more tiny than when she won the trophy.

And we get a Storm Team weather alert just as we are about to start - well damnit all to hell. What am I missing now?  Looks like some of our pros that aren’t on this season are back dancing in a group dance - Lacey Schwimmer, Anna Demidova, Jonathon Roberts, Dmitry Chaplin - looks like they are giving us lessons in how to do these dances. There is a blond out there that I don’t know and a guy I don’t know either. Well that was entertaining.

First up is Evan Lysacek and Anna Trebunskaya dancing the Quickstep. Man her hair is super red - doesn’t even look natural. He starts with a solo and is looking for his girl who is backstage in a makeup mirror. Not sure if Len will like that whole first part b/c he doesn’t like them piddly fartin’ around at the beginning of dances. They were not together at the beginning of that bit, but quickly got back on. This is a quick quickstep and you know what that means - I like it. They are doing great so far. He really looks like a leading man not a star dancer. He even did a cartwheel. They fall down back to back looking exhausted. It was rather cute if you ask me. Len got the story and he was cheered up by it, but work on the feet. Bruno said he gave her the ride of her life and then dumped her. Carrie Ann thought it was great - twinkling, energetic, and loved the characters. BTW, Evan has a couple of broken toes - ouch! Scores were 2 9’s and 1 8 from Len for a 26 out of 30.

Buzz Aldrin and Ashly Costa have the waltz. Ashly is frustrated with him over thinking things. Poor old man - he seems frustrated. He is a serviceman coming home to greet his daughter. Awww. The only thing I didn’t like was that he was very far away from her in the hold, but I think he did rather well given his age. So far, I thought it was one of his best dances. Bruno called it royal and dignified, he said the movement didn’t really go anywhere as far as the flow goes. Carrie Ann believed the story telling and loved the beginning when they came together. Len loved the innocent charm, but didn’t like the technique and oversimplified routine. Scores were 2 4’s and a 5 from Carrie Ann for a total of 13 out of 30.

Jake Pavelka and Chelsie Hightower have the Quickstep. And yes, she is Cleopatra and he opens up the tomb to reveal her. hmmm… they fight and he thinks she is disrespectful. They talk about it and hug after it. Awww. He is holding a flashlight looking for her and she pops out cracking her neck. The hat fell on the floor hope they don’t fall on it. ha! I thought they did pretty well - the story was great and he kept up just fine. Perhaps the footwork could have been just a bit better but it was fun and that’s what it is all about. Carrie Ann loved the story telling, but said the production value was set too high b/c his legs were too soft. Len said he needs to straighten up during the Quickstep not keep the legs so bent. He thought it was great entertainment though. Bruno loved it and agreed with both Len and Carrie Ann. Scores were all 7’s for  21 out of 30.

Niecy Nash and Louis Van Amstel dancing the waltz. They are supposed to be an interracial couple in the 60’s trying to be a couple but society or the law frowns upon it. She is crying and Louis is as well during rehearsals.   It was touching. She looked like she stumbled with the steps there at the start. I don’t think this is her dance - doesn’t flow like it should. It seems like she is thinking too much. Although the turning trick was pretty cool close to the end. Good story just not well executed. Len thought it was brave not having props. He thought they pulled it off, but work on better technique. Bruno said it was a tale of loving against all odds and they succeeded - he pointed out the stumbling which I saw as well. He thought she acted it well. Carrie Ann thought it was an important story to tell, but she was confused at the ending of it. Scores were all 7’s for a 21 out of 30.

Chad Ochocinco and Cheryl Burke have the Quickstep this week. I wonder how this will work for him not doing so hot last week. This week he is supposed to be seducing her which he said is imitating real life b/c he keeps trying and she always rejects him. ha! He certainly has the Paso face on (disgusted). I actually think he is pretty good here. He is really into the character and his legs look so long in those pants. You could tell he wanted to go in for the kiss at the end. They look good together. Bruno said the power and determination is back, but be careful of losing the lines. He said it was a big difference. Carrie Ann said you could tell he really wanted the girl - miles ahead of where he was last week, but work on his shoulders. Len said it was much better than last week, but work on posture. Scores were 2 7’s and a 6 from Len for a 20 out of 30.

Pamela Anderson and Damian Whitewood have the Paso Doble this week. She has got the mean face on too. She runs off the stage and he just throws her around. Not sure if all that was intentional. ha! I think her movements could be more rough and on point. I think out of everyone their story was the weakest although she did have the mean face on constantly. It was still good though and I don’t think she should be in the bottom 2 by any means. Carrie Ann definitely got that she hates the bull fighter. She loved her artistry and she really knows the shape of her body, but that she threw herself off a few times. Len thought she coped well with being in the bottom 2, loved the intensity and focus, but it needs refinement. Bruno called her a great performer and she has the ability to perform and keep going.  Scores were all 7’s for a 21 out of 30.

Dancing the quickstep is Aiden Turner and Edyta Sliwinska. He has some high knees like he is marching and it looks kind of weird. The guy singer singing this is hitting the high notes and his voice is cracking. Very distracting. I thought they did well, but the storyline was lacking. They just had the beginning bit where he was painting and she came down the steps. He did keep up though and his knees weren’t as soft as Jake Pavelka’s.  Len thought it was careful and not carefree and called out an incident. Bruno said he looks as happy as a clown this week, but thought it was a bit skippy. He can see an improvement. Carrie Ann liked his growing confidence, but thought he was a little too light on his feet. Scores were 2 7’s and a 6 from Len for a 20 out of 30.

Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy have the Waltz. She will be blindfolded so she can just go on a ride with him and not think too much. Now sure where the blindfold comes into play here as she is not wearing it and I’m not sure what her story is either as they didn’t explain it in practice either..or I could have missed it. Wow - they looked like they were gonna kiss and then he steps behind her and puts on the blindfold. Wow - she is doing great. I think this blindfold has eye slits in it, but who knows? That was HOT and sexy! Who would have thought a waltz could be hot and sexy like that? Bruno called her a kinky thing. He thought the hold was fantastic, but on her own the movement wasn’t big enough. Carrie Ann thought it was beautiful story telling - the prop added lots of dimension. She called out the death grip again. Len thought it was a boring start, but said there wasn’t enough Waltz to it. Boo Len! Scores were 2 8’s and a 7 from Len for a 23 out of 30.

Kate Gosselin and Toni Dovolani have the Paso Doble this week which should be interesting. I bet it will suck. Tony brings in an acting coach to help her become a performer. She starts crying because she’s had to hide between her masked face.Boo freakin hoo, Kate! Get over it! Tony is a press man taking pics of her and she is being herself acting mad at all the pics being taken of her. The steps are just too basic, slow and boring. She needs to LEAVE! Carrie Ann said it was odd and it was odd to watch. Len said she got through it and it looked like she got through her nerves. It was a lot of walking around. Bruno said for once she played the character, but said it needs to translate into movement. Scores were all 5’s for a total of 15 out of 30.

Last up is Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough who have the Quickstep. She finally breaks down under pressure (it happens)…but she’ll do good, I’m sure. WOW - what a huge undertaking!! Major choreography right there, folks. I loved it. Very cute and entertaining. I couldn’t even look away to type. Len thought they broke the rules saying it wasn’t the Quickstep. Bruno said as a performance it was incredible, but he agrees with Len. Carrie Ann said they did a lift and they broke hold but she wants front row seats when they take that act on the road. Scores were 1 9 from Bruno, 1 8 from Carrie Ann, and a 6 from Len for a 23 out of 30.

Bottom 2 should be Buzz and Kate with Kate going. I am tired of seeing her face. ugh!

So we’re back. Will Kate Gosselin leave us tonight? Gah, I can only hope so. I hope we can get right to the results - and it looks like we might as the couples are standing front and center under the lights. And yes, we are going to get right to some results - yayy! First safe couple is: Buzz Aldrin and Ashly Costa. First couple in the bottom 2 is: Pamela Anderson and Damian Whitewood.  Guess America doesn’t like her sex appeal. She asks him “Are we in the bottom 2?” He said mmhmm and she replied with Oh My Goodness. Hmmm… Interesting, indeed.

We are now getting Len’s take on the competition as well as backstage confessions mixed in. I didn’t even pay any attention to this. Encore dance belongs to Nicole and Derek with their awesomely fantastical jive. Still just as good the second time around.

Now we get our pro’s giving us a special treat - I guess Michael Jackson’s choreographer(s) choreographed this dance or something. I love watching the pros. Maks has shirt all the way open and I must say it is sexy as hell. The camera angles on this is just weird. Pros are walking in front of the camera, blowing kisses and they wound up in the new red room. Kinda chaotic if you ask me, but I still love my pros.

Adam Corolla is back giving us his favorite moments: Buzz’s Moon T-shirts  - apparently he has a lot of them. Edyta elbowed Aiden in the face. ha!

Next safe couple is Aiden Turner and Edyta Sliwinska. Niecy Nash and Louis Van Amstel are also safe.

The Beach Boys and John Stamos are up next performing. They are singing a medley starting with California Girls and here comes our pro girls all dressed in yellow. The men are out now with them as well. I wonder why Cheryl is always partnered with Maks. I think they look good together and both are single. Hmmm.  Kokomo is being sung now which is one of my faves. Anna and Louis are taking center stage on this song. John Stamos is playing the bongos in the back. I thought he sang. Maybe he’ll get his chance. Now John has a guitar on and is going to town on Fun Fun Fun. And that was it - I was still trying to figure out what John Stamos was doing there. I don’t get it. I do like the Beach Boys though.

Len is giving us the Len Commandments of Ballroom. He is in a Moses Robe holding tablets. Good lawd! Bring on the wine b/c we’ve got cheese right here, folks.  1. Thou Shall Not Kill Time (don’t mess around on stage giving flowers, taking off coats, etc.). 2. There Shall Not Take the Judges Name in Vain. We then proceed to hear Edyta cussing up a storm about being disappointed about the judges comments and directing it towards Len. Of course it is bleeped out, but yeah she’s a cusser for sure. 3. Thou Shall Not Steal Dance Moves. We see other couples peeking in on the practices. 4. There Shall Not Interrupt Len which was directed at Bruno who needs to quit the gyrating on the judges table. 5. Thou Shall Not Do Lifts as Sargent Carrie Ann is Watching You. 6. There shall Add rhinestones - many rhinestones. Keep it sparkly, people. 7. Thou may honor the judges with gifts. Got any crackers to go with this bit?

Len presents a challenge to the couples - next week they need to tell a story and leave out gimmicks.

Next safe couple is: Evan Lysacek and Anna Trebunskaya.  Speaking of Anna what happened to the other Anna pro dancer. Remember? We voted her in for last season..the tall blonde? I forgot about her.

Two more safe couples are: Jake Pavelka and Chelsie Hightower as well as Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough. Kate Gosselin looks beat down, man.

Now some Haiti’s information to tug at our heart strings. Macy’s is performing for Haiti btw.

Next we get to see a day in the life of Brooke Burke who thinks her competing on the show gives her a lot of compassion for the contestants. When it is her and Tom together they are reading from a teleprompter but in the “red room” she called it a fish bowl - she is on her own. No wonder Samantha got tongue tied. UGH!

The next safe couple (this was supposed to be spoken by Brooke but we got Tom and Brooke saying the same thing..ha!) is Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Also safe is Chad Ochocinco and Cheryl Burke. That leaves us with Shannen Doherty/Mark Ballas and Kate Gosselin/Tony Dovolani. I hope Shannen is safe - she needs more time on the show.

Next safe couple is Kate Gosselin and Tony Dovolani - UGH!  Shannen Doherty and Mark Ballas are in the bottom 2 with Pamela and Damian. Leaving us tonight is Shannen Doherty and Mark Ballas. I’m VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! Brooke said it best “I was really hoping to see more of you.” Me too, Shannen, me too! Boo!

DWTS Episode 2

Posted By: admin On: March 30, 2010 Comments: ( 1 )

So I am so gosh darn mad at myself for not having this on season pass. I went to the gym and worked out and I got home 32 minutes into it. I will have to find the episodes online and review them. Bah! The first three dances are merely me watching them online and there will be no first impressions tonight. Boo!

First out of the gate is Shannon Doherty and Mark Ballas dancing the jive. WOW! It looks like she had a blast out there for sure. She really let loose and shook her booty.  Her kicks could have been better but I’m impressed with Shannen. This could have been her downfall for sure, but she lived up to it. Mark is really good at jives so he really gave her some meat to sink her teeth into with this dance. Len thought it was a great start but that her legs could have been sharper. Carrie Ann loved how Mark pushed her hard. Bruno liked the energy much more this week and thought her kicks and flicks could have been higher. Scores were 2 7’s and a 6 from Len for a total of 20 out of 30.

Aiden Turner and Edyta Sliwinska have the foxtrot tonight. I thought they did pretty good. He seemed relaxed and limber and light on his feet. Len thought the movement was economic. Carrie Ann told them Nice Job! And Bruno said he can see a glimmer of hope for Aiden. Scores were 2 6’s and a 7 from Carrie Ann for a total of 19 out of 30.

Evan Lysacek and Anna Trebunskaya have the jive this week.  He does the splits over her head and he is so darn good at them.  Wow he is really good at this - very limber, quite the performer, nice flicks and kicks. Looks like they nailed it. Len told him to work on his feet and get them a tad bit sharper. Bruno said to be careful not to go wobbly. Carrie Ann said it was great and she liked the connection. Their scores are all 8’s for a 24 out of 30. Guess the judges liked it.

Niecy Nash and Louis Van Amstel have the foxtrot this week. Niecy thought she could get foxy but Louis had to set her straight. Louis had to break the dance down to her in terms of food so she could get it. LOL! She is in pink with some feathers at the bottom. She looks great although it appears her head is tilted back way too much for my tastes. She is very light on her feet though and seems to be enjoying herself. She ended by sitting on some guys last (hubby?) and Louis pulling out a ring to propose.  It was a cutesy dance. Len said it had ease and sophistication - called her a revelation. Bruno said it was nicely done like a strawberry milkshake. Carrie Ann asked if she spied a lift - and then said - no she didn’t.  She called her spectacular in her movements - she said they will need to do bigger next week though b/c of the competition. Scores were all 7’s for a 21 out of 30.

Jake Pavelka and Chelsie Hightower have the jive and he is overwhelmed. He does some microphone tricks at the beginning. They dance to Hip to be Square. He’s got on high water black pants with white shoes. He has some high kicks going on and it looks like he is having fun  very limber and not holding back. He put in some John Travolta Grease moves with some shooting guns.  It was cute and entertaining. Bruno can tell he wants this really badly and wishes everyone put as much effort as he did. He needs to work on precision and technique.  Carrie Ann thought they did a lift - whatever! GIVE IT UP! She loves the start and the way he attacks the routines. Len thought overall he coped very well.  He thinks Jake has great potential. Scores were 2 7’s and a 6 from the lift police for a total of 20 out of 30.

Buzz Aldrin and Ashly Costa have the foxtrot and ole Buzzy needs the steps drawn out like a map. His wife pays him a visit to give him a pep talk. He salutes the fag and the moon is on the screen in the background. He looks hunched over. I thought this might be ole Buzzy’s dance, but it doesn’t look like it is.  He has a smile on his face though and he held onto Ashly as she did her thing which is good partner work.  Carrie Ann said it was very charming and tender - she loved how it tugged at the heart strings. The dancing part seemed like he was afraid to step on her toes. Len isn’t going to criticize a legend and he inspired everyone to go out and do their thing. Bruno said it looked like he was avoiding craters, but said it was great to have him on the show. Scores were all 4’s for a total of 12 out of 30.

Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough have the jive. I honestly can’t wait to see this out of them. ahhh! She is complaining about the song. She wanted a 50’s style, but they got a modern theme song. She is worried about Len not liking it - as she is very scared of him. ha! Can’t wait for this… As Nicole was doing a solo we see Derek in the new red room with Pamela Anderson. He runs on stage and does the Benji Schwimmer (Lacey’s brother and winner of So You Think You Can Dance) foot slide move. This is super fast paced. I honestly could NOT take my eyes off them. They had it all  - high kicks, entertainment factor - SOOO GOOD! Loved it!  Len said parts were fantastic, but he isn’t a big fan of the first 12 bars of it. He thinks she is very talented. Bruno thought it was phenomenal - he hasn’t seen a jive that good in week 2 ever. Carrie Ann called it perfection - she loved it and bowed to them. Scores were 2 10’s and an 8 from stingy stuck in the 40’s Len Goodman for a total of 28 out of 30.

Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkoskiy have the foxtrot and her being a tomboy is making this frustrating for her. Maks is the calm one in this relationship which is a big change for him this time around. ha! She’s all smiles and dances to Taylor Swift’s song. She does the splits and high kicks and it is looking pretty nice for a tomboy. Her turns can use some work though - as they are off balance. She had wardrobe issues and had to pull her top up. Bruno thought she was a natural - came out with such ease and natural elegance. He wants her to finish the movements and link them. He was interrupted by Tom and just sat there frozen. ha! Carrie Ann loved her flexibility, but to watch the death grip on the hold. Erin said that Maks told her hold his bicep and she admitted she couldn’t find it - he walks off. LMAO! Soo cute! Len said movement was fluid, but the footwork wasn’t too keen. He got on her for getting on Maks. He told her to turn up, keep up and shut up - get on with the dancing and trust in your pro. Hmm…I think he is PMSing tonight. As Tom is talking about what is to come, Erin is patting his arse and Maks is dirty dancing on the other side of him. LMAO! Scores were 2 8’s and a 7 from Len for a 23 out of 30. Maks has to show off his bicep so that everyone knows he has a big one. ha!

Tom says he is worried that Maks’ ego will not survive this season. ha!

Pamela Anderson and Damian Whitewood have the foxtrot. Will she make this sleazy too? She looks like Marilyn Monroe tonight. I like how they are using the music and doing little cutesy moves to it. I thought it was cute, but I was a bit bored by it. Not sure why, but was a bit bored. She kissed him on the lips at the end. I wonder if they have a thing going off the dance floor?  Tom made a funny saying “I don’t know what they are going to say (referring to the judges), but a bus full of Kennedy’s just pulled up.” haha! Carrie Ann loves how she gets into character, but work on her left shoulder.  Len said something that sounded like TITTilating or something. Carrie Ann died laughing. Len wants her to work on posture and her bust moving it away from Damian.  Bruno thought it was a delicious tribute to Marilyn. Scores were 2 7’s and an 8 from Bruno for a total of 22 out of 30.

Chad Ochocinco (I love saying his last name) and Cheryl Burke have the foxtrot.  He flirts with Chery in practice and she finds it awkward. She told him that if stops sticking his butt out through the whole dance she will give him a big kiss. hmmm… Let’s see it! She kisses his cheek. He loves her teaching style - whenever he does good he gets a kiss. He puts his hands over his face like a little school girl. It’s cute! He looks like he is really squeezing his butt cheeks in. ha! I think he looks a bit awkward doing this dance. I don’t’ think they will be on top of the leaderboard like he thinks they will. Len said there was little he could talk about to give him any encouragement - terrible posture and it was like the snow, you are just glad when its all over. Bruno said he looked uncomfy and felt he was going backwards. Carrie Ann said he has great potential but wants him to understand his potential and just let it go  - stop thinking about it so much. Scores were 2 5’s and a 6 from Carrie Ann for a total of 16 out of 30.

Kate Gosselin and Tony Dovolani are going at it - at each others throats. Hopefully someone can take her down a notch b/c she was pretty darn controlling in her personal relationship (I’m not saying John Gosselin isn’t at fault, but I could tell she ruled the roost). Hopefully she learns something from this. Tony quits and she says he can’t quit. Then we get a screen that reads ‘To Be Continued…’ Hmmmm..  BTW, they have the jive this week. He returns and they make up. She admits she wouldn’t want to teach herself either. Got that right, lady. She is in red fringe and has some nice legs. It doesn’t even look like her. She is messing up the steps and can’t keep up with the kicks. She looks very timid and unsure. She looks scared to death!  They have some nice tricks but man it was awful! Bruno said it reminds him of when he was in Elton John’s video and she’s turned it into a nightmare. He told her to get into the character. Carrie Ann said she made it through the whole routine and said she saw the fear on her face. Len said the nerves are breaking her at the moment. Len told her to come out and really go for it. Scores were all 5’s for a total of 15 out of 30.

So I loved Nicole and Derek! I also liked Jake and Chelsie as well as Evan and Anna. The only foxtrot I liked was Erin and Maks. How bout you?
