Bridget’s Take:

Yay, Samantha is back-the show really needs a female to balance with Tom. However, her dress is hideous…looks like she is covering up mama mammaries!!

Mark Cuban is starting off tonight. Nice to see him with his family it makes him more human. I also think it is great that they are adding a new dance, the Viennese Waltz this season. I have to give Mark Cuban some props here, the dance was really quite lovely in my opinion. He was almost gliding, it was nice to see him not so over the top. I love that Len Goodman teased him about watching with his eyes closed…who knew he was so sarcastic. I think they deserve a decent score, since he honestly had to work hard to calm the heck down!!! Back to dear old Samantha and the girls…so glad she is back!! A score of 22, great, exactly what they deserved.

Before the commercial they cut to the stars, Cameron Mathison raised his fist in the air, like a douche and Helio looked hot-I think I’ll start calling him Double H…Hot Helio.

Next is our Cheetah Girl Sabrina Bryan, let’s see if she can do a serious Paso Doble. My son commented that it seemed like they were both professionals…I agree mostly but I thought Sabrina was a tiny bit stiff. Carrie says perfection…could we have our first 10??? Len can’t find anything wrong, and Bruno said something crazy…could they get three 10’s. They deserve it, Sabrina is pretty great. Wouldn’t they make a cute real couple?? Yep, a perfect score 30…beat that Mathison! Has there been a perfect score this early before?

Jane Seymour is up next, looking incredibly beautiful. I hope I look that good at 57, I wish I looked that good now. I think the foot painting they did was a neat idea..cheesy as we expect from DWTS but neat. Dancing to Billy Joel’s, The Piano man, these two looked incredibly elegant. Jane looked like a ballerina in a jewelry box, feminine and sweet. I love that Tony argued with Carrie about the supposed lift, I didn’t see anything that I thought was a lift, but again what do I know? Tony looks really annoyed that Carrie accused him of cheating, I can understand that, it’s not like Jane went flying over his head or anything. Carrie was a hard-butt with they 8, Samantha claimed she saw both of Jane’s feet off the floor in the slow motion recap…I did not see it.

Floyd Mayweather needs to pull something great out this week after last weeks debacle, and the show of his boxer’s temper…yikes. I think the Paso Doble is perfect for him, bull fighters and boxers should go hand in hand right? Too bad he blew it with a giant lift!! Triumphant and great until that point, I’m glad Carrie caught it because I thought for sure it was a lift. Floyd was right back on his game this week, despite the technical error, it was theatrical, big and bold, like you expect from a boxer. Let’s see if Carrie docks them like she docked Jane Seymour. Carrie gave them a 7, I’m sure one down for the lift, great job though. I think Samantha needs to lose the costume jewelry, you can’t wear a choker and a giant bow!!

I was looking forward to seeing what Mel B. will do with the Waltz, I think she looks great when she does elegant. Sorry, Scary Spice but I’m not feeling it this week. The dance was pretty boring and slow, my mind kept wandering, that can’t be good. Maybe I’m didn’t see the same dance the judges saw, because they were positively swooning over a dance that I thought was just OK, my vote would be a 24. Samantha kills some time here and plugs the Spice Girls new video, can’t wait for that! The judges gave them a 26, I’m surprised it was not higher after all the drooling…

I’m not sure I can take one more stupid Superman reference from Cameron Mathison. Lovely how they got him to use his child to plug AT&T, I bet he’ll do anything for a buck. The lifts are getting out of control, you can’t tell me that Edyta climbing up on him with both legs up in the air is not a lift. As for the dance, even I have to admit it was good, especially since they had that horrible song, who dances to that??? Apparently the poor, poor soap star is injured, Samantha was worried his leg would swell, it looks like her girls are swelling before our eyes…whoah. So they got a 27, I hate to admit it but they deserved it…I still hope he gets eliminated.

America’s sweetheart, Marie Osmond is next, she’s so cute and down to earth especially during the little kids ballet class, how funny. I thought this was fabulous, really truly amazing, and elegant and all that. The whole dance was beautiful, whimsical, really sweet. That floor spin thing was great too, faster than you would think a woman her age could spin around on the floor. Loved it, love her. 26, I don’t know what Bruno is holding out for, they were for sure as good as Mathison. Oh and Samantha needs to not sing, ever.

Kelly Taylor, I mean Jennie Garth was next. I’m a little nervous for her. I was surprised at her Tango, and I’m not sure she can pull off the Paso Doble. Wow, I am totally surprised, this was really, really great. I loved the fast pace of the dance, it was almost a little scary I was so worried about that big skirt and the possibility of another fall. If Jane Seymour had a lift then Jennie Garth was lifted too, I guess we should knock a point off everyone across the board this evening. 27, including a 10 from Len Goodman!!! WOW!! I’m surprised at the ten, because of the lift question, but good for our 90210 gal.

I love Helio Castroneves, I really do and I hope he wins. I also love the song they danced to Who I Am by the Goo Goo Dolls. Again, elegant and sweet, but honestly a little boring for me. Helio looked genuinely uncomfortable a couple of times when he was away from Julianne, like he could not wait for her to come back and dance with him-maybe that was planned though so it looked loving. The judges were generous, maybe I was bored because they followed that hot number by Jennie Garth. They scored 27, which is great because I want to see them next week.

It is tough to pick a favorite this week, I liked Jennie Garth an awful lot, but for me she tied with Marie Osmond, who was also fabulous. My least favorite was Mark Cuban, although better than usual, he is still kind of stinky and I think he will be out, I just don’t buy that he has the fans to stay in very long!!
