Helio Castroneves and Juliane Hough

Helio Castronevers is a 2-time Indy 500 Champion winning the contest back to back.  A Brazilian native, he drives for Penske and is best known for starting to the tradition of climbing the racetrack fence after a victory. Helio is also part owner of NasrCastroneves racing team, which competes in the Brazilian Stock Car V8 Championship. During his Indycar career, he has won 12 times and has had 49 top 5 finishes.

American, Julianne Hough’s speciality is Latin. She’s not currently competing professionally and is based out of Salt Lake City, Utah. She is the youngest profesional dancer on the show.  Julianne grew up in Utah with her 10 siblings. She’s always loved singing, dancing and acting. By the age of 10, she left her family and went abroad to London to pursue her passions. She partnered with Mark Ballas (son of Corky and Shirley Ballas, world renowned coaches)  while living there and become the youngest and only American to win her titles of both International Latin Youth Champion and Junior Blackpool World Latin Champion.

After high school, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dreams of acting, singing and dancing and landed the role on the game show, Show Me the Money. She joined the Dancing with the Stars tour company and performed as a company dancer. When Kym Johnson became injured, Julianne stepped in and danced the rest of the tour with celebrity Joey McIntyre. Her first season on Dancing with the Stars (season 4) was incredible as she went on to win it with partner, Olympic Gold Medalist, Apolo Anton Ohno. Currently, Julianne is recording a country album and has released a single “Will You Dance with Me.” which has been released on I-tunes and is up to #8 on the I-tunes country chart.
