Wow, I just got back from visiting the Dancing with the Stars Forums on ABC and thought it was quite humorous at some of the topics and posters over there.

For example here’s a humorous thread: Are there any dance pros who DON’T smoke?

Here’s the original post:

“Does anyone know if there are any pro/celeb couples this season who DON’T smoke?   Maybe they will get all my votes.  It’s no less valid than the reasons some people are giving for their votes.  Too bad too.We know that these young people are ruining their health, all to curb their appetites and look skinny or look cool.  We know that Cheryl smokes, Edyta smokes, Derek smokes, Mark smokes, Maks smokes.What they don’t realize — they think they are just doing it “casually” while clubbing and don’t have a habit ……yet but what they don’t realize is — everyone who DOES have a habit started just that way. Of course people are going nutz on this person because of his philosophy on smoking.

I just think it is hilarious how people base their votes. Some people base it on who is more popular. Some people base it on who dances best (which is how it should be). Some turn it into a media circus going on Larry King Live, Oprah, and has every one of their brothers and sisters promoting it too (coughcoughMariecoughcough), and now someone votes on who smokes and who doesn’t. Wow - the range varies, doesn’t it?

Hey if these professional dancers or any smoker for that matter want to kill themselves with each puff they take - be my guest. No matter how beautiful a person is - they aren’t beautiful with that nasty cig in their hand puffing away - that’s just pure ugliness especially if you have bangs.

Now that I’m off my soapbox, enjoy this TMZ video of some of our professional dancers and stars. What’s funny is Cheryl and Edyta are outside and both are smoking. The camera comes up and they immediately hide their cigarettes. The photographer says “You can hide your cigarettes. It’s ok!” This begs the question - why hide it?
