Cloris Leachman Appears on Jimmy Kimmel

After her sad elimination from DWTS Cloris Leachman made the obligatory appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. For his part Jimmy gave her a warm and much deserved introduction. Cloris was still in costume and came out sans her partner Corky Ballas. I think this might be the first time the partner was not with the celeb, I guess Corky is not a big enough star…hmm.

Cloris started out as her normal funny self, complaining about how her feet don’t touch the floor because her legs are short. Jimmy said they did that on purpose to humiliate the short. She moved all around in this chair business until she wound up lounging with her back to Kimmel and her legs up on the chair next to her. She even took the cushion off of the chair and was basically lying on the floor. Kimmel could not get a question, much less an answer, in-it was classic.

Jimmy had to come around to the front of his desk and sit on the floor to interview her. He said he felt like they were camping together. At this point Cloris took over the show saying how young Jimmy Kimmel was, how she used to be younger than everyone and now she is older than everyone including everyone in the audience.

She said her grandchildren usually go to bed before she comes on the show so they don’t see her antics. One of them though, comes every week faithfully-she would be there next week and Cloris would not, ha! Jimmy asks her a question about her will and Cloris feigns sleep rather than answer the question. She also corrects Jimmy’s grammar, which is funny. She then says she’ll never talk to Corky again and that she never liked him…I am laughing out loud. Cloris corrects his grammar some more and complains about only getting one segment compared to the “pretty girl” he talked to before he interviewed her.

I’m going to miss that old broad….
