Dancing with the Stars Champions Join the Tour

If you were wondering if Helio Castroneves and Julianne Hough were on the DWTS tour, wonder no more. They will be joining the 37-city tour for a week’s worth of select dates.

The tour will feature Monique Coleman, Marie Osmond, Joey Lawrence, Drew Lachey, Sabrina Bryan, and Wayne Newton. The tourt starts in Seattle on Dec. 18. Helio saw that everybody was doing the tour and didn’t want to be left out. Apparently Julianne didn’t want to be left out either so she’ll be popping in to do a few tour dates with Helio.

It is still unclear on the exact dates, but it appears they will be mostly appearing in the Midwest specifically Indianapolis (Jan. 18). That isn’t a suprise considering Helio has big ties to Indianapolis even going as far as thanking the city of Indianapolis several times on the show. Other possible shows for the DWTS Champions are Nashville (Jan. 19), and Greensboro, North Carolina (Jan. 26.). “That side of the country is much more likely,” Julianne Hough says. “That side of the country” is more convenient for the two as Hough will be recording in Nashville and Castroneves starts his racing season in March.

TVGuide caught up with Julianne Hough as she was vacationing in Hawaii and apparently recovering from strep throat that she got the last week of Dancing with the Stars. She had time to talk about the rumors of her “relationship with Helio” stating she takes it all in stride as she’s already been through this before with season 4 celebrity partner, Apolo Anton Ohno. She replied with, “I know the rumors aren’t true so I’m fine with it,” she says. “But I feel bad for everybody involved. I feel bad for Helio. I had the same thing happen when I was with Apolo (and broke off her own engagement), so I totally understand.”

Apolo Anton Ohno had a mini-reunion as he was back on the DWTS finale sitting in the front row. Julianne said, “Oh, it was so good to see him.” As of now, she is soaking up the sun in Hawaii and taking a much needed break. “The sun is going to be great,” said Hough.
