DWTS Tour Dates Announced!!

I know you all are dying to know if the big DWTS tour will be coming to a town near you, so here’s the skinny! The 37-city tour will include Lance Bass, Toni Braxton and Maurice Green, as well as season six celeb Marlee Matlin. Professional dancers will include Mark Ballas, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Derek Hough, Kym Johnson, Alec Mazo, Lacey Schwimmer, Edyta Sliwinska, Karina Smirnoff and Fabian Sanchez.
The two-hour live performance will have a set that is a re-creation of the TV show’s actual stage along with cabaret-style, VIP table-seating on the floor. A 10-piece live band will accompany the cast. Two huge high-def video screens will showcase never-before-seen rehearsal footage, exclusive behind-the-scenes interviews, outtakes and other extras.
“Dancing with the Stars - The Tour” is set to launch Dec. 17 in San Diego, CA, and make its way across the US, ending Feb. 8 in Philadelphia. Tickets go on sale beginning Nov. 10. The full schedule is listed below. Holler at your boy!

Hi: I hope the blogger Bridget will get back to me on this.
Per your list it looks like Cheryl Burke has not signed on for the tour. Is that correct?
Do you know where I can get more info about this issue?
I am unlikely to buy a ticket if she is not on this tour.

Hi Kate,
The information that I have seen does not include Cheryl Burke. However, that does not mean that she will not join the show or that she might make appearances at some shows and not others. You might check her MY Space page linked from this blog, for updates. I’ll keep you updated if I hear anything else.

Bridget is right, it hasn’t been confirmed, but she has always been on the tour - hasn’t missed a one and if Maurice has signed on this time - I have feeling she’ll be there too. They always like to partner the stars with their on screen pro’ to keep the viewers happy. We’ll see though.

Yes, ok. Thanks Bridget and Admin for responding. My thought process corresponds to yours but Cheryl hasn’t announced her tour situation on her website or MySpace or via her email either. So I am very much ‘on the fence’ about the final answer. Until I get a solid confirmation either from Cheryl or from a formal DWTS press release, I am going to assume she isn’t going to do the tour. Siiiigh! to me she is the heart and soul of the show though of course I enjoy some of the other performances for sure. Ciao and thanks again.

I am sooo glad that Brooke is not going to be on the tour, her head has gotten sooo big on DWTS, because she thinks she is all that and that is NOTHING but being a snobbish little brat…I will NEVER forget when Derek made the comment that she was “lazy” , she TOTALLY took it the wrong way and off she pouted like a spoiled brat, until the producers MADE dereck say he was sorry that he said what he said…Out of all the stars on the show she is the one who thinks she can not do any wrong!!! Shame on her, what a good example she is going to set for her kids, “now honey remember your better than anyone else in the world cause mommy is a star”… SHAME ON YOU BROOKE!!
