Jewel and Nancy O’dell OUT Just 3 Days Before Premier

Yep, it’s true! Jewel and Nancy O’dell are out of the Dancing with the Stars competition before it even starts. They’ve both been training for a month and to be out 3 days prior to the start of the show must be devastating.

Jewel really wanted to do this with her hubby Ty before they settled down and had a family. It looks like she won’t have her chance to bond with her hubby this season. There is always next season, Jewels! Her knee injury is actually more serious. Jewel has tibia fractures in both her legs and has resorted to crutches to get around. She hopes to come back and sing on the show and even compete in the future.

This is the first we’ve heard about Nancy O’dell having injuries. She apparently tore her meniscus and will require knee surgery.  Wow - Tony Dovolani must have worked her to death. LOL!

Replacements haven’t been announced and won’t be until Monday’s premier show. There is already rumors spreading that Hugh Heffner’s ex and former “The Girl’s Next Door” reality star, Holly Madison will replace Jewel. No word on who if anyone will replace Nancy at this late in the game.

Producers are rethinking the strenuous training that the stars have to go through and are thinking of setting standards in place so that the stars don’t over do it. Well duh! Shouldn’t this have been in place since day 1?  It is strange that the young ones are getting injured - I guess it is probably because they can push it harder and tend to overdo it.

So - let the DRAMA begin. You know ABC will be milking this drama from the get-go. Did we expect anything different? I’m just not sure how anyone can get up to speed in 3 days when the others have had a full month to prepare their first dance. Doesn’t quite seem fair does it?  Let me know your thoughts!
