Louis Van Amstel & Maksim Chmerkovskiy Call Fellow Pros The F-Word

That’s right, it is pro against pro int he ongoing fat battle on Dancing With The Stars. Apparently or maybe allegedly Louis Van Amstel, who I love, and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who is a douchebag, are adding their two cents to the Cheryl Burke and now Lacey Schwimmer weight debacle. I’m not shocked that they have chosen to take jabs at Ms. Schwimmer (the judges are too) but I would have thought they would have some loyalty to Cheryl Burke.

It has been reported that in the latest issue of TV Guide Louis Van Amstel said, “People look at this show to be inspired and think, ‘If I just work hard enough, I can look like that. If they watch someone who’s dancing her butt off and she’s still heavy, they can be discouraged. You have to take that responsibility.” Ummm, Lou…I think you are taking yourself a teensy bit too seriously. Does any watch DWTS to be inspired? I thought everyone just watched hoping someone would fall and to make fun of all the silicone. Maybe it is just me?

Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who I am fairly certain is not a nice guy, said about Burke and Schwimmer that, “when I first saw these women this season, I said, ‘Guys, you know the camera adds 10 pounds, You have to do something about this.’” Raise your hand if you think this conversation actually happened. Now, if you actually raised your hand take $10 and go out and buy yourself a life.

Seriously, if Maksim and Louis actually said these things they are huge jerks. If they didn’t then I am the huge jerk for writing about it. Either way, someone is a jerk and Cheryl & Lacey are fat…that can’t be good for ratings. They both need to feverishly deny these comments…or I might have to hate them forever. Now that would be bad for their careers.
