Marisa Jaret Winokur and Tony Dovolani Expecting!!

But not together, of course!! Marissa Jaret Winokur and her husband King of the Hill writer Judah Miller are expecting their first child, through a surrogate mother this summer. Marissa and Judah opted for a surrogate mother after Marissa had a hysterectomy to treat cervical cancer in 2000. Although Marissa is unable to carry the baby due to the hysterectomy she had frozen some eggs. Marissa said in an interview with SFGate.com that it has been a long journey but they are ecstatic to be able to have biological children. Marissa Jaret Winokur also said that she has developed a very close bond with the surrogate mother.

Tony Dovolani and his wife Lina will add double trouble to their family with twins, mom is about four months into her multiple pregnancy. The babies will join four year old sister Launa. Tony says that part of the fun this season is that he and partner Mariss Jaret Winokur are both expecting so, “if someone does not point their toe it is not such a big deal.” Congratulations Tony, from a mother of two sets of twins-get your sleep now, you’ll need it!

In other news about Mr. Dovolani he was taken to the hospital for an injury to his knee after last weeks elimination show. Apparently he injured himself during one of the Sheryl Crow numbers. Word is he will be recovered enough to dance next week. Rough times on the dancers this season, I don’t know about ballroom but in professional theatre there are a lot of superstitions, like never saying “Macbeth” in a theatre space or injuries will abound. Did someone break on of these rules on the DWTS set??
