Speculation surfaced about a romance between Mario and Karina Smirnoff which they denied, now there’s no denying the pictures, folks. Shannon Elizabeth and Derek Hough were at a Malibu Beach and they were kissing. We knew something was brewing with these two the last two weeks. The press is having a field day because of the big age difference. Shannon Elizabeth is 34 and Derek Hough is only 22. I ask - so what? Sooo what if she wants a young buck? They make a cute couple and it isn’t like she is the mature old woman. You can tell on the show she is still young hearted, awkward, and girly. You’d think Derek was older, but unfortunately he isn’t in age. Does age really matter when we are dealing with 2 consenting adults? I think not.
