Dancing with the Stars Week 6

Posted By: admin On: October 27, 2009 Comments: ( 2 )

We are going to have 2 weeks of double eliminations. Wow! Tonight though we are going to have the waltz and jitterbugs and then a group dance where they are judged side by side. First impressions…

Aaron Carter is in a green velvet suit with the cuffs of his collar all the way up to his ears. NO JOKE! Karina looks beautiful in pale green strappy gown. Lacey looks like a french maid and Mark is in some type of gray shiny suit number. Oh gawd! Donny Gag Me Osmond is in a tight white muslce shirt with red suspenders and a sequined hat. A red bandana is around his neck. I do not like it one bit. Kym has the same suspenders and hat but is showing lots of tummy tum tum. Louis Vito is in suspenders but his are way cuter than Don’s. He has a green short tie on and Chelsie is in a cute green number with a flowing bottom. And he almost bit it going down the steps. Oopsy. Michael Irvin and Anna Demidova look stunning. She always has such poise about her. She is in light blue and him in a vested type suit with the same color silk shirt that matches Anna’s dress. Melissa Joan Hart is in pretty lavender this week. Maya is in red and white polka dots with a can-can. She’s right out of “I Love Lucy.” Joanna Krupa is in a lovely off white with gold accent gown and Derek is back in a gray vested suit. Kelly Osbourne is in blue/pink plaid with loud yellow accents and HUGE I repeat HUGE loud yellow bow in her hair. Louis Van Amstel has on a loud yellow tie. As we pan the stars/pros, Mark Ballas heavily kisses a necklace. Wonder what that is about. Dang this show is going fast b/c when they just showed the couples, there are not that very many left. Wonder why they are doing the double elimination 2 weeks in a row. I don’t get it. Oh and btw, lifts are allowed in jitterbug. Good to know up front.

Maya and Dmitry Chaplin are up first doing the jitterbug. She is experiencing pain in her hip bone. We get to see her getting a massage. Oh boo hoo, Maya. Really? Did we need to see that? Dmitry is sweeping and she is doing something over at the judges table. She is cleaning. He is trying to get her attention. Took too much time with the props I think. They are both light on their feet and bouncing around quite nice. The crowd is clapping and I bet my Mom is too. Nice backflip she did. Nice tricks all around, but it lacked something. Perhaps the fun element - at least for me. Len thought the props were un-needed b/c he didn’t want her polishing his desk for 20 bars. Bruno thought she was spot on with her timing. Carrie Ann disagrees with Bruno and thought it was soft and muted, and it was slightly under from what she expects from her. Scores were 1 8 from CA, 7 from Len, and a 9 from Bruno for a total of 24 out of 30.

Melissa Joan Hart and Mark Ballas have the waltz this week. She is having problems with her posture/shoulders. Mark brings his Mom in to help to which she replies with Ah-Oh. My feelings exactly. haha! Mark’s hair in practice is horrible - very HIGH like a fro. She looks stunning tonight - I just love her dress and color of it. So far so good I think. Her posture looks nice, but at times she kind of looks a bit timid. There were times where they paused a lot too which made it look a bit awkward, but it was ok. Bruno said it wasn’t good. He said it looked like she wasn’t dancing and forgot what she was told. Carrie Ann said it felt a bit sticky and rigid. Len thought she looked elegant and the transitions, but saw technique problems. He thought their critiques were a bit harsh. Wow - 2 weeks of nice Len. What has gotten into him? Scores were 2 7’s and a 6 from Bruno for a 20 out of 30. Oh and btw, Mark got a haircut and just as I went to type this, Tom tells us we can bid on Mark’s hair from last week. haha! Great minds think alike, right Tom?

Mark Dacascos and Lacey Schwimmer have the jitterbug this week. They go to a jitterbug club so he can get into character. While there he tried to get voter support. Whatever. He starts on the stairs with a huge high kick. He does the splits over Lacey’s head. He does some nice gymnastics and the splits. Full of tricks. He looks loose and like he is having fun. They had lots of tricks and I would have liked to have seen less, but I liked how they used the entire dance floor unlike Maya and Dmitry. Carrie Ann is screaming and doing crazy stuff with her arms. She loved it! She did point out a little stumble at the end which I did not see. Len said sometimes less is more, but not in the jitterbug. He loved the energy - thought it was great. Bruno said it was spectacular, but he lost timing at the end. Oh and Lacey is supposed to be a kitty not a french maid. Scores were 2 9’s and an 8 from Bruno for a 26 out of 30. Crowd is booing Bruno. Bruno is the new Len, me thinks.

Aaron Carter and Karina Smirnoff have the waltz this week. He is super frustrated b/c he doesn’t know what to do because of America not liking them putting them in the bottom 2 weeks in a row. Boo Hoo, Aaron. Boo Hoo!  He comes in to practice in a suit with red roses for Karina. He did it to show how dedicated he is to the character of the dance. GAG! He actually looks good starting out. They do some nice spin tricks in the beginning. He spins on one foot himself with his leg up in the air. A bit shaky, but it ended well. This is a very nice waltz, nice flow and chemistry. I think this is one of his better dances and I would be shocked if he were in the bottom 2. Len thought he danced with maturity, lovely posture, nice frame, great connection, and thought it was his best dance. He was proud of him. Aaron looks like he might cry. Bruno said he became a gent. tonight. He liked it, but also said he lost his footing at times. Carrie Ann thought it was beautiful, but also pointed out losing it at the beginning. Scores were 2 8’s and a 9 from Len for a total of 25 out of 30.

Tom tells us that Len gets crazy when giving a 9 paddle. We get to see it. Len puts the paddle up in the air and waves it around like he just don’t care only it was very prim and proper. LOL!

Michael Irvin and Anna Demidova have the waltz I’m guessing based on their dress. I’m surprised they are showing 2 waltzes back to back like this. Michael did an open segment on his radio show to thank his fans for keeping him in the competition last week. In practice he is super stressed b/c of the double elimination. They start a part and flow towards each other which was nice. He has nice rise and fall. the chemistry between them is good as well. I like his nice smile. I thought they did well actually. Bruno said the posture wasn’t good enough and basically said it was mediocre. Carrie Ann asked if Anna’s feet came off the ground - Anna shook her head no. CA thought it was charming but has to dock them for the lift and the stumble. Len said it is amazing how three people can watch a dance and 2 people can get it wrong. He loved the charm, loved the footwork, good posture, and well done. Scores were 2 6’s and an 8 from Len for a 20 out of 30.

Kelly Osbourne and Louis Van Amstel have the jitterbug this week. Of course they bring up the drama with her ankle. Will she be able to dance tonight? Will she? Of course she can. Kelly has fears about dancing and not being good enough so Louis makes her swing on a trapeze and drop into a net. She is going to take that and bring it to the dance. We shall see.  This is nice and fast. On one of their spins her foot slips, but she didn’t fall or anything. I wonder if that will shake her confidence. I think she needs more bounce in her shoulders and upper body. A little flip trick where she lost her footing too, but not too shabby. Def. not the best one of the night though. Carrie Ann thought her sense of fun was back, but said she brought the worst b/c she thinks about it. She wants her to stay in the happy place. Len thought she was being a tad protective of her ankle and was a tad bit flat footed. It was like a blueberry muffin w/o any blueberries. Bruno thought it was cute and nice but now she needs to reignite the performance - throw away the fear and perform. Scores 2 7’s and a 6 from Len to which Kelly’s jaw dropped. Scores were 20 out of 30.

oooh - the dance off is back and judges get to make the decision about who goes. Interesting…

Louis Vito and Chelsie Hightower have the jitterbug. I do not like his hair this week. Parted down the center looks nerdy. Maybe that is his character - who knows? Poor guy is having issues with all the tricks. Oh yes he is a nerd. She rips off his tie and glasses and he puts the glasses back on. He flips Chelsie over and she falls flat on her arse. The funny thing is he didn’t see it b/c his next move was to run over to the judges table and jump on top of it. He rips his sleeves off and does a huge backflip off it. He loses his timing after one of the tricks. I can see Chelsie counting it out trying to get him back on. They do another trick and he just hapharzardly throws her up. Wow - I think it was a crazy routine. Not sure if he was ready for that, but they made it through. Len said parts of that was fantastic - loved his enthusiasm. He said there are bits where he loses his energy. Bruno said he got all wacko which suits this dance, but he lost his precision and timing. Carrie Ann loved this dance, but she pointed out dropping his partner twice. Oh and btw, he has Chelsie’s lipstick on his lips b/c he kissed her at the end. Awww!! Scores were all 7’s for a 21 out of 30.

Joanna Krupa and Derek Hough are back as a couple this week with the waltz. Derek is being mean in rehearsals. We see this every season. They end on a nice note though. So far they look stunning together. Her posture is really good and she looks elegant. This glides very nicely. I thought they did great actually. Tom called it the “get a room dance of the season” LOL! Bruno said it was like watching a butterfly gliding over a meadow. Carrie Ann said her outside lines were great, but thought she had some hesitation or doubting herself. Len said her footwork wasn’t too briliant, but loved how they went straight into the dance, good hold, posture, lovely movement and the best waltz they’ve seen tonight. Scores were 2 9’s and an 8 from Carrie Ann for a 26 out of 30.

Donnie Osmond and Kym Johnson have the jitterbug and their song is probably something about a choo choo train b/c they are acting like ridiculous children on a train backstage. GAG! The old man is having issues with the lifts and tricks. He has no stamina I think. Ok he is not doing too badly here. I bet my Mom even likes this especially with the music. They are right on with their timing with the music. I actually hate to admit this, but I liked it. Haha! Audience did too b/c they are standing and cheering loudly. Carrie Ann loves how they work a room, but commented on their stumbles and being out of sync. Len said they always come out and perform it full on - he thought there was too much choo choo action (he made the choo choo movements with his arms -ha!). Bruno said they lost timing, but always a great performance. Scores were all 8’s for a 24 out of 30.

The Big Mambo is up next and this is competition style where all couples are out there dancing. If they get tapped on the shoulder they are out. Whoever gets tapped out 1st gets 2 points - last place gets 10 points. This dance is all about endurance because it is a 4 minute dance. Michael Irvin is hilarious where he is bumping into everyone on purpose. Maya said he needs to wear a cup. The judges are up on their feet now and will be the ones tapping the couples to eliminate them. The goal here is to be the last couple standing, not the first one out. It is hard to watch everyone and type so I will just not type about their dancing. First couple tapped is Michael and Anna only they weren’t tapped - Len held up a paddle with their name on it. They get 2 points. Louis and Chelsie are the next out and they get 3 points. Melissa Joan Hart gets a bit lost on her spins and consequently they are the next out. They get 4 points. Kelly and Louis are out next with 5 points. Mark and Lacey are next out with 6 points. Everyone that is left looks great…however Donny and Kym go next and they get 7 points. Somehow Derek ends up on his back and Donny shimmys over him as they leave. The cameras weren’t there to pick it all up so not sure what is going on. Joanna is swinging her dress as Derek and Donnie do their thing. Aaron and Karina are next to go with 8 points. Second to last to leave us is Mya and Dmitry with 9 points. Joanna and Derek get 10 points and are the last couple on the floor and they do maniac turns at the end. She looks dizzy.  I think they deserve it though.

Len loved it - the format and they were arguing all the way through. Bruno said it was magic - all did a great job, but Joanna and Maya were both sexy. Carrie Ann loved Joanna’s spirit that took it over the top. That was fun - I agree! They need to do that every season.

Ahhh - this was a jam packed show. I’m not even sure who my faves are. I don’t know. I think Michael Irvin and Louis Vito might be in trouble this week actually. Oh and Melissa Joan Hart might be right there with them.

The stars are already in their spots - ready to be kicked off I guess. I’m shocked they are already in position. Maybe they are going to speed things up tonight or maybe it is just for show. Samantha is in royal blue and her hair is back. Yay. Nora Jones is our special guest tonight and will be doing two songs. She thrills me just about as much as Joss Stone. With the couples in position, does that mean we aren’t going to get an encore dance? Hmmm. Recaps and backstage confessionals are happening right now. Kelly Osbourne has some foot drama and had to go get her ankle examined. Tom tells us she suffered a sprained ankle and a contusion and provided she makes it through the elimination, she will continue dancing next week. The encore dance will be Donny Osmond and Kym Johnson. Boo Hiss! ick! I wanted to see the hustle again.

We are going to get a Michael Jackson tribute tonight. They are showing all the dances to his songs over past seasons right before we go to commercial. Also, the pros are going to get together and dance a tribute. Should be good from what I saw of the rehearsals last night. Gonna see some Thriller moves which I love.

Nora or Norah is up now and I am fast forwarding unless our pros that we know are dancing. And nope, people I don’t know.

We will now see who is safe..bout time. Mark Dacascos and Lacey Schwimmer, Donny Osmond and Kym Johnson, and Maya and Dmitry Chaplin are all safe. Are we surprised? Heck no!

Next we see a day in the life of the star on a Monday morning from arriving at the studio, makeup, eating, walking around, chilling, wardrobe, hanging out, red room, to show time.

Joanna Krupa and Derek Hough are in jeopardy. Kelly Osbourne and Louis Van Amstel are safe. Aaron Carter and Karina Smirnoff are also in jeopady. Aaron had a blank face on. Didn’t get that. Then they went back to him he was smiling and muttering something to Karina under his breath.

Michael Irvin and Anna Demidova are safe. Natalie Coughlin and Alec Mazo are in jeopardy tonight. Boo.

Nora(h) is back singing “Come Away With Me” and the only reason I am watching is because Jonathon Roberts and real wife Anna Trebunskaya are going to come out here shortly and put on a show. They look stunning. Aww, Tom just told us that “Come Away With Me” was their wedding song. Love it!

Louis Vito and Chelsie Hightower are safe. Woot! Guess he does get by on his cuteness. LOL! Melissa Joan Hart and Mark Ballas are in jeopardy. Wow - lots of the couples still in jeopardy have been near the top so this could be shocking.

Now the Michael Jackson tribute. His family is talking about him as well as our pros who are doing a lot of his moves. Latoya Jackson is up on stage introducing our pros who are dancing to his music. Mark and Derek have on sequined socks and a glove. “Man in the Mirror” is playing and I’ve got goose bumps. Thriller and Cheryl and Louis have this dance which I figured. I’ve got more goosebumps. Other pros are lurking out from smoke and the audience. They are doing the true thriller dance - and I love it! Wow that was awesome! Great job with this tribute!

We’re back with the 4 couples in jeopardy. Next safe couple is Melissa Joan Hart and Mark Ballas. Derek Hough and Joanna Krupa are also safe. The bottom two tonight are Aaron Carter/Karina Smirnoff and Natalie Coughlin/Alec Mazo. Len and Carrie Ann do not agree with the bottom 2. Karina looks miffed. She’s a pistol. Natalie Coughlin and Alec Mazo are leaving us tonight. BOO! I’m disappointed in this result, but seriously I have no room to complain because I did not vote. I will vote next week for sure.

Let me her your thoughts…shocked at the result? Did you expect it? Natalie is upset you can sure tell. I would be too - she said she loved it so much. Awww! She will be missed.

Dancing with the Stars Week 5

Posted By: admin On: October 20, 2009 Comments: ( 1 )

We’re back and Samantha is featuring a fro this week. Lots and lots o’ curls and I do not like it. First impressions…Aaron Carter looks like a stick in a suit. Mark Dacascos is showing some chest that is hairless. Lacey Schwimmer is in red and her hair is super high. Donny Osmond is in a nice suit and Kym Johnson looks stunning in black lace. Louis Vito has his hair slicked back and is in all black. He looks HOT tonight. Michael Irvin is in black with gold trimmings up and down his sleeves and side of his pants. Looks like a matador. Anna Demidova is spilling out of her gold sequined top. Melissa Joan Hart is in black and red. She looks very elegant yet loosened up as she walks down the steps. Maya is in turquoise tonight - a short number and looks pretty cute. Her and Dmitry make a cute couple. Natalie Coughlin looks like either Wonderwoman or an American Gladiator in red white and blue. She’s showing some awesome abs. Joanna Krupa is in a black long evening gown and she is paired with Maksim Chmerkovskiy tonight. Hmmm..where’s Derek? Does he have the flu or injured? Kelly Osbourne is in all gray and her hair is pretty darn high like light socket high. Louis Van Amstel is sportin’ lots of guy-liner and Manscara tonight. Guess he got a little addicted to the makeup from last week, huh, or maybe it never washed off from last week? He scares me when he has makeup on.

Tom tells us that Derek has the flu. Hmm..hope it isn’t the H1N1 or he could be out for awhile. Wonder how the chemistry is with Maks and Joanna? We shall see.  Tonight we have the Paso Doble and Argentine Tango with a group dance of the Hustle. Woot!

Natalie Coughlin and Alec Mazo are up first dancing the Paso Doble.  I think she might be good at this with her competitive ‘tude. She starts on the judges table kicking her leg up like Alec’s wife, Edyta. They dance to “American Woman” which explains the red/white/blue gladiator outfit. She just did a lift and I am not sure it was allowed. Hmmm. I am not digging this music for this dance, producers. It was a contemporary Paso Doble so I’m not sure how Len will take it actually. Len called her an accomplished dancer, everything was precise, but he thought this dance lacked aggression. Bruno called her wonderwoman, but said this was wonderless. He thought it lacked conviction. Carrie Ann said she is a great student, she called out the lift that I called out, and wants her to not stop her movements at her hands. Scores were  2 7’s and an 8 from Len for a 22 out of 30.

Aaron Carter and Karina Smirnoff have the Argentine Tango. In practice Karina wants Aaron to turn her on and she said “It’s hard b/c I’m a cold-blooded bitch!” I couldn’t have said it better myself. LOL!  I do not like Aaron’s hair - looks like a plastic Ken doll. I wonder if they just did a lift. Hmmm…this is looking pretty good, sexy and precise. I love the leg work. And..that looked like another lift although she did jump up herself. She is so not keeping her foot down. The lift police is going to have a field day. As far as Aaron goes - I think he did awesomely this week. Bruno said he did exactly what he asked him to do. Carrie Ann kisses him on the cheek twice - said that is the way to do it. She didn’t say anything about lifts. Len said he was like a little boy that lost his daddy and this week he has come back to him. LOL! Scores were all 8’s for a 24 out of 30.

Michael Irvin and Anna Demidova have the Paso Doble this week.  Anna told Michael that he needs to keep his hips forward like he has a coin in his buttcheeks. Michael actually put a coin in his butt cheeks. LMAO! Hilarious. She said she has never had a student do that. They end the practice session with the coin falling out of his pants. haha! He is dancing small and he isn’t really hitting the moves. Anna is a brunette this week. Not sure if it is a wig or not. He does some cape work and has on a stern face. At least this week he isn’t just standing around. The crowd likes it and I think this might be one of his best dances although I didn’t think it was the best Paso I’ve ever seen. Carrie Ann seems to like it - she said finally someone put their game face on. She said it was her favorite dance so far. Len liked the posture, expressiveness, and thought this was even better than last week. Bruno said the quarter in his butt is working for him. LOL! Michael gives Bruno his quarter as a token. ICK but so funny! Tom says “and on the week that people have the flu..oooh!” haha! Scores were all 7’s for a total of 21 out of 30. Oh and I guess it was a nickel and not a quarter. Oops. ;)

Maya and Dmitry Chaplin have the Argentine Tango this week. This should be good b/c of their sexy chemistry. Oh and Dmitry tells us that they can do lifts in this dance. Well, why didn’t they tell us this before Aaron Carter’s dance? Anyways, Maya knees Dmitry where it counts several times in practice. Oopsy. Better watch the goods, Maya. They leave the studio to help out with Habitat for Humanity. This is random. Maya and Dmitry certainly have the passion down. This just comes so naturally for her. They have very complicated footwork and I love it. She jumps off the stage into his arms. Some people just have it and some don’t. She certainly has it. Wow! Len doesn’t know what he likes until she sees it and he liked that. Bruno thought it was intricate, precise, and sophiscated, but to always keep the emotional connection. Carrie Ann thought she moved so well, but what was lacking was the emotional connection just slightly. Scores were all 9’s for a total of 27 out of 30.

We see some flu drama with Mark Ballas and Derek Hough. Mark said he didn’t feel like himself and wore a surgical mask so he wouldn’t get Melissa sick. We see Derek practicing with Joanna and he looked like total crap. Guess flu does not discriminate.

Mark Dacascos and Lacey Schwimmer have the Paso Doble.  I totally was not interested in their practice as I zoned out. Lacey comes out of smoke and Mark starts on stage. And well I think this could be his dance - full of flare and he is playing the part very well. He had a nice round high kick that looked awesome. He did some karate move kick thing that was pretty intense, not sure how well it fit with this dance. His face when it ended was scary - very kung fuish aimed right at the judges. LOL! Bruno said he is turning into a devil…said he was on it, sharp and angular. Carrie Ann said he was in his power tonight. Len said he had posture, performance and passion tonght. Scores were 2 9’s and an 8 from Bruno for a 26 out of 30.

Donny Osmond and Kym Johnson have the Argentine Tango. We are shown how hectic his schedule is this week and I could care less. He is sharp in his movements but one thing I don’t like is they aren’t using much of the dance floor. They did have passion though and his footwork waas pretty sharp. This all sucks for me b/c I wish he’d get kicked off the show. Carrie Ann said the Argentine Tango loves Donny “gag me with a spoon” Osmond. She said it was so darn sexy. Len loved the intensity and quiet moments with the passion - said it was his best dance. Bruno said finally Donny Osmond is turning into Donny Darko. Donny starts after Bruno and Carrie Ann says no, no no. Donny said Bruno took him there. Oh lawdy! Scores were 2 10’s and a 9 from Len. BOOOOO! 29 out of 30 for them. That sux!

Louis Vito and Chelsie Hightower look like they are going to kiss backstage and she stops him. I say go for the kiss, guys. They have the Paso Doble tonight. Louis said to be prepared for a steamy Argentine Tango - Hmm..I can only hope. ahhh!  His footwork isnt that precise and I’m not getting the steaminess. They did a nice chair slide trick though and I freakin loved that. He looks really nervous though tonight and shouldn’t be. Len wasn’t expecting a lot and was pleasantly surprised by it. He thought the chair worked great and thought it was the best dance so far. Bruno loved the story telling, but said he is still stepping it - he needs to start dancing. Carrie Ann said he needs to stay in dancer mode, but she loved how he partnered her. Scores were 2 7’s and an 8 from Len for a total of 22 out of 30.

Melissa Joan Hart and Mark Ballas have the Argentine Tango. Mark puts the pressure on and said he doesn’t want her to go any lower than 3 8’s. Anna Trebunskaya fills in for Mark since he was under the weather during practice, but Mark is back tonight. She looks a bit unsure tonight and not as precise. Mark has some red shoe covers on that are very distracting. She has some precise moments, but when they are close face to face - it looks like she doesn’t want to be close to him. It was dramatic though and she had some good moments. Apparently her dress got stuck on his jacket or something at the end and Tom had to run to the rescue. Bruno said she lost her steps a few times, and said she looked slightly grumpy more than sexy. Carrie Ann disagrees with Bruno and said she definitely nailed the character, but said she had a few stumbles. Len said it did lack a little bit of seduction between the guy and girl, said she coped with the difficult choreography, and said she did very well. Scores were 2 8’s and a 7 for a 23 out of 30.

Kelly Osbourne and Louis Van Amstel have the Paso Doble this week.  Louis explains that Kelly is supposed to be the cape this week and she doesn’t get it. LOL! She is a little giggler in practice and sticks her tongue out while Louis has his back turned to her. They are dancing to an Ozzy Osbourne song and she is terrified about that. I must say it that I do not like her hair - the bangs, the harsh cut. Ick. Now I see why Louis is wearing dark manscara and guy liner b/c of the music. I like her head movement - how sharp it is. Her daddy likes it - he is up on his feet. It was pretty dramatic and intense, but I felt she could have done more. Carrie Ann said it is surreal but said she needs to stay in the intensity. Len thought she was dancing with more authority tonight. Bruno said it was very difficult all the way through, but said she got off a bit. She needs to stay on it. Scores were all 8’s for a 24 out of 30.

Joanna Kruppa and Maksim Chmerkovskiy dance the Argentine Tango tonight. Maks is filling in for a very sick Derek. I wonder how Maks knows the choreography so fast. Does Derek right the steps down or something? Maks wants to skip the part that her and Derek started and start fresh. Well that answered my question. So far so good up on the stage dancing. She has the bitchy personality down. Something I am sure Maks got used to dating Karina. And wow - it looks like Maks stumbled over his feet or something. I am rewinding it to see for sure. Actually I think Joanna caused it. She lost her balance, but they recovered and fiinished nicely. Bruno said he was living his fantasies up until that stumble. Len thought they did a great job under the circumstances. Carrie Ann agrees with Len and sad they matched so well. She wants her to work on the flexibility. Scores were all 8’s for a 24 out of 30.

Round 2 is up with the group Hustle. Yayy! Tom tells us that Kelly Osbourne hurt her foot in her last dance so she will be dancing barefoot in this dance. Corky Ballas is there all dressed in 70’s gear. He is choreographing it. They start in the audience and they are all dressed in 70’s gear. Michael Irvin has on a nice fro. Louis Vito has on side burns. They do a crazy solo with lots of spinning. Mark Ballas and Melissa go a little hog wild and he almost drops her. I love these wigs. Lacey has a nice mohawk. Aaron Carter is pretty darn flexible here and actually looks good. Oh gawd, Donny - gross hair, but this is right up his alley. Joanna is light on her feet and did some ncie tricks with Maks. Natalie needs to loosen up a bit, but she had some nice splits. Maya looks great and probably was one of the best. Michael Irvin is awesome too - light on his feet and strong. That was lots of fun though. Loved it! Bruno seemed to love it. Carrie Ann couldn’t see much b/c Michael was in her way. Len thought Mark, Donny and someone else did well. I didn’t hear it and don’t feel like rewinding. The judges don’t get to vote on this dance and I’m glad.

Dancing with the Stars Week 4 Results

Who will go tonight? My guess - Michael Irvin. We shall see. I hope my little Louis Vito is safe. Shakira is here tonight - woohoo! I hope she sings She-Wolf. I love that song. Samantha Harris is in red silk tonight - woowoo, Sam. Right now we are getting recaps and backstage confessionals. Anything that is funny or newsworthy to report, you can bet I’ll let you know.  Nah, nothing good here. Sorry. :( Encore dance tonight belongs to Melissa Joan Hart and Mark Ballas’ Charleston. Good for her!

Shakira is on and well she is not singing “She-Wolf” - boo! She does have 1 hot bod though. I’m not sure what this song is because I went to the ladies room as Sam was telling us, but it has an Asian flair to it and she has these little Asian women playing drums in the background. Very unique as Shakira always is.

Let’s get this show on the road - eliminate will ya? First two couples safe are: Maya and Dmitry Chaplin and Melissa Joan Hart and Mark Ballas. First couple in jeopardy is Aaron Carter and Karina Smirnoff. I’m not surprised at Aaron.

Our pros are dancing for us now. Dmitry, Louis, and Alec are up on stage and Cheryl, Edyta and Karina are now dancing with the hot men. They are showing us the Tango and I must say that Edyta and Alec are not very in sync with the other couples. Now they are doing the Paso Doble. Yeah it was just OK for me…

They are really hyping up the group hustle which will happen next week. Next week dances are the Argentine Tango and the Paso Doble which is why our pros just danced that for us. Moving right along…

Next couple safe is: Kelly Osbourne and Louis Van Amstel as well as Natalie Coughlin and Alec Mazo. Also back next week is Joanna Krupa and Derek Hough. Tom lets us know that all of the women are safe. One of the men is definitely going home tonight. Next safe couple are Mark Dacascos and Lacey Schwimmer. Joining them is Michael Irvin and Anna Demidova - boo - that blows my theory out of the water.

Shakira is back and she is singing “Hips Don’t Lie.” She is doing her traditional belly dance moves. Love it.

Next we see the real life fighting of the pros and stars. Drama Drama Drama. From the practices to the live show to the dramatic lights/music of the results show - the stars weigh in on what it is like. Anyways, more elimination stuff which is why we are here, right? Next safe couple is Donny Osmond and Kym Johnson. We will find out if little Louis is safe after the break. Boo - I wanna know now. We’re back from commercial and Samantha and Tom are telling us what the judges told us last night to build this thing up as usual. Finally the next safe couple is Louis Vito and Chelsie Hightower! WOOT! Chuck Liddell and Anna Trebunskaya are in the bottom two with Aaron Carter and Karina Smirnoff. Len thinks Aaron will better be able to cope with next week when they learn two dances. Leaving us tonight is Chuck Liddell and Anna Trebunskaya. I’m a bit disappointed with this outcome. I liked Chuck - LOTS! I wanted Aaron to go home.

Dancing with the Stars Week 4

Posted By: admin On: October 13, 2009 Comments: ( 2 )

Tonight we have a whole spectrum of dances. Four new dances are going to be introduced tonight. I’m not sure I can handle 4 new dances. LOL!

First impressions - Aaron Carter is showing lots of chest with an open front silk white shirt. Karina has some big hair and showing off her tanned abs. Chuck Liddell is going sleeveless with a black leather vest or is it plether? I can’t tell. Anna has some huge ole rolls on the top of her head. Looks like she forgot to take the curlers out. Mark Dacascos is country-ing it up with a sleeveless white shirt and blue jeans. Donny Gag Me with a Spoon Osmond is in a tux and Kym Johnson in a red Charleston type outfit. Louis Vito is also country-ing it up with a white cowboy shirt. Chelsie looks so darn cute by his side. Michael Irvin is in silk looking very sauve. Melissa Joan Hart has a headband on and her hair pinned up to look short. She is in black lace. Mark Ballas has a fake ’stache. Not digging the ’stache or Melissa’s hair. Maya has on some crazy eyeshadow and crazy colors while Dmitry is sporting his signature opened shirt. Do we even care what color the shirt is, peeps? It is orange if you care to dare. LOL! Natalie Coughlin is in white. Kind of reminds me of a mermaid - bikini type top with a dress bottom, but still kind of interconnected. Ya know, mermaid style. That would totally fit her too being an Olympic swimmer. Didn’t even make the connection until after I typed “mermaid style.” I’m so good with the analogies, don’tcha think? Joanna Krupa is in yellow fringe and Derek in black. Kelly Osbourne is in Charleston type gear with a huge apache feather sticking up the front of her head. Her dress is black and white and WOW Louis Van Amstel is freakin’ scary with make up on. He is wearing red lipstick and lots of eye liner, maybe even eye shadow. WTH? Oh he also has blush on. ICK!

The four new dances this week are Charleston, Bolero, Country 2 step, or Lambada. Lifts are also acceptable tonight. Yayy! They should always make them acceptable so the lift police can retire.

Up first is Chuck Liddell and Anna Trebunskaya dancing the 2 step. He looks like he is having fun here. According to Anna he used to work in a country bar and is used to seeing people do this dance. Let’s hope this helps. They are practicing lifts and he is excited to be able to use his strength. I’m anxious to see it, Chucky! Anna starts up on the judges table and he is wearing jeans and carrying a rope to rope her in. They dance to “Boot Scootin’ Boogie” my favorite country song and I love to country line dance to this song. I used to take lessons ya know. Ok, back to Chuck… he does a black flip on the floor after he ropes in Anna. He does a lot of walking around, but had some nice strong lifts, but just wasn’t a lot of 2 steppin’ in there for my tastes. Maybe I don’t know what a 2 step is supposed to be. I just know line dancing. Len thought the lifts were very good and loved how he entertained, but said eventually this is a dance competition and he will need to improve the quality of the dance. Bruno said he raided the 2 step - bringing carnage and mayhem to every thing he does - he said it still managed to look like  2 step. Carrie Ann said this suited him the most and she loves how he never lets the dance beat him. Scores were 2 6’s and a 5 from Len for a 17 out of 30.

Dancing the Charleston is Melissa Joan Hart and Mark Ballas. Mark said this is the first time he has ever done this dance. Melissa wants to practice really hard so that she doesn’t have to think about the steps and focus on the performance. They go to a 1920’s club to get in the character. We will see how this works. They put it in black and white on our TV’s - kinda cool. Now we are in color - she is doing a great job acting with her face. She is keeping up really well here. Wow - awesome footwork that went right along with the music. They end with him putting her over his shoulder and going up the stairs to the chairs. I thought this was by far her BEST dance of the season. Great job, Melissa! Bruno said she brought the 1920’s Hollywood Flapper back to life. He said she had the role 110%. Carrie Ann said it was her dance - she thought it was fantastic. Len said it was about the three E’s - Energy, Excitement and Entertainment and they ticked all three boxes. Woot! I was waiting for her to do well in this competition. Scores were 2 9’s and a 10 from Bruno for a total of 28 out of 30.

Dancing our first Bolero are Natalie Coughlin and Alec Mazo. This week they have major issues in practice because she is too stiff. He is being tough with her because they want to keep the momentum going from last week and really push the boundaries. She starts with a coat on with fur around her face. Alec removes it to reveal her sexy bod. She does the splits and it looks amazing. She is very fluid and not stiff. They did a cool trick where she did the splits on the move going backwards. I don’t really get the Bolero - I’m not sure what to look for, but it was pretty darn sexy. Carrie Ann was on the fence. She thought it was beautiful, but thought there was a struggle with the movement. She encouraged going for the difficult. Len thought it had a great lyrical movement throughout. He would have liked a little more romance b/w the two of them. Bruno loved how she found her Basic Instinct and compared her to Sharon Stone. He said to watch her arms. Scores were all 8’s for a 24 out of 30. She looks a little miffed even though she said she is very happy about that. Hmmm…

Dancing the Lambada is Aaron Carter and Karina Smirnoff. We are taken back to the drama of his crying from last week and we see backstage stuff b/w him and Michael Irvin. Michael is comforting him which is really nice. Awww!  This dance is supposed to be sexy and I wonder if he has it in him. He is going to incorporate gymnastics into the routine. Hmmm…not sure about this.   Dang her skirt is short. He does some gymnstics over her and the crowd eats that up in a major way. This is looking like a party dance, but I am not feeling the sexy. He is keeping up. Lots of tricks at the end, but the ending trick didn’t quite work out. He was supposed to possibly lift her, but they couldn’t get the hands right and she ended up on the floor. She tried covering it and maybe some didn’t notice, but I did. bwahaha! Len thought it was a walk on the wildside and that he needed to spend his time on the raunchiness insted of the backflip. Len said this is the dance he wants to see raunchy. Bruno said for once he is absolutely right. Bruno said the character of this is Gilles Marini and he is not doing that. He needs to bring the foreplay in and to grow up to perform. Carrie Ann told him to chill out and that he is trying too hard. She said it turned her off. Scores were all 6’s for an 18 out of 30.

Mark Dacascos and Lacey Schwimmer have the country 2 step tonight. They want to work on the chemistry this week since the judges said they had none last week. He is having issues not getting all the steps perfect, but the 2 step is kinda messy anyways so no perfection needed, Markus. There is hay or straw on the dance floor and he is resting his foot on it. Wonder if Len will like the props or not. Oh and he has some of the prop in his mouth. Lacey comes struttin over and the dance begins. I am not sure what to look for in these dances - doesn’t seem like their are rules. They do or try to do a trick where he holds Lacey sideways and she walks along the edge of the judges table. It didn’t quite work right because of the position of her feet, but I give them props for trying.  His musicality was a little off with the beats, but they ended nicely with a little karate move. It was ok. His kids are in the audience and they seemed to enjoy it. He’s got some cute kiddos. Bruno said he should have a roll in the hay more often b/c he was more confident. He also said his footing was off in parts too.  Carrie Ann rolled her eyes at Bruno..she thanked Mark and felt the chemistry and thought it was the best 2 step so far. Len loved the choreography and loved how Mark helped Lacey with her spins, but he was heavy in his footwork at times.  Scores were 2 7’s and an 8 from Carrie Ann for a total of 22 out of 30.

Samantha tells us that next week there is going to be a group hustle. Yayy! Can’t wait to see that. I’m sure it will be full of cheese and laughs, but I love that so I should be good to go.

Kelly Osbourne and her woman errr…man of a partner, Louis Van Amstel have the Charleston this week. I’m not sure what is up with Louis’ makeup, but I’m sure it has to do with their performance. Louis is choreographing this like a broadway performance. This could be big! She starts sitting on the lap of someone who is sitting with her family. They start off well, full of life, and canes come down from the ceiling which is kinda neat.  The only thing I see wrong so far is Kelly is looking down at her feet. Not sure if she should be doing that. I think she needs to keep her head up high. Nice energy, nice cane work, she looked like she had a blast and the ending was awesome. I really liked this. Louis did awesome choreographing it.  The crowd loves it. Carrie Ann said watching you dance is like watching a little birdy getting their wings and learning to fly. She loves how her face lights up and loves Louis’ look. Len said she came out with confidence and she performed the dance which has been her problem. He would have liked a little more swivel, but overall very well done. Bruno loved the tribute and the foxy touches from Chicago - he thought it was a very good performance. Scores were 2 8’s and a 7 from Len for a 23 out of 30.

Joanna Krupa and Derek Hough dancing the Lambada and Derek takes his shirt off completely. What? Joanna starts behind the judges then wraps her legs around Derek and he spins her around. I don’t get the whole shirtless thing. Lucky for him his bod is pretty awesome. This is pretty darn HOT! They got pretty close there and it looks like they kissed a bit. The tricks at the end were awesome - he spun her around close to the ground while he stepped over her. They ended with him holding her up while he bent backwards and he almost bit it, but he held it steady. Len wants that as tomorrow nights encore. haha! He said Derek never disappoints and thought it was fantastic. He thought it was a bit repititious that “flappin’ thing”. Bruno said don’t try this at home b/c it was like when animals get physical.  Carrie Ann said she hopes the children were in bed and Tom said he bets some of the adults are now. haha! Good stuff. Carrie Ann thought it worked and it was fueled by the crotch area which is exactly what they did. Scores were 2 9’s and an 8 from Len for a 26 out of 30.

Donny Osmond and Kym Johnson have the Charleston this week. Behind the judges table is pretty popular tonight. He started there too. Oh boy - he is really performing up a storm here. Ok, I have to admit it, my little gagster is actually doing pretty good here. He is very light on his feet and you can tell he is having fun. He goes and kisses his wife and I guess his kid, but leaves out Marie. haha! Bruno said this showed a showman in his element. A little thing - he wants him to be sharper on the flicks and kicks. Carrie Ann thought it was excellent and loved how they move together as a team. She did see him stumble though. Len thought he looked good, he danced good, and watching him does good. Whatever! I just really don’t want him to do well. UGH! Scores were all 8’s for a 24 out of 30.

Michael Irvin and Anna Demidova are dancing the Bolero. They bring in Tony Dovolani who is champion in this dance.  Tony helps Michael with his connection and passion this week. Let’s hope it pays off. Anna is dancing pretty sexy, but Michae is doing a lot of big poses. I bet the judges are going to want more content again because he is just standing while she dances around him. What was that? He did have passion, but not a lot of movement. Carrie Ann saw the romance, but she thought there wasn’t enough dancing. She also saw the posing. Len thought this was the most difficult dance and can assure him that his score will go up higher than a 4. Bruno said every week he is supposed to get better, but nothing happens. Scores were 2 5’s and a 6 from Len for a total of 16 out of 30. Poor Michael - I kinda feel bad for him this week.

Next up is Louis Vito and Chelsie Hightower. Speaking of Louis, my bro went to a cookout this weekend where Louis’ cousin was present. She talked about him and he told her that I was a huge fan of the show and that I’d love knowing he was in the company of one of the stars family members. Jealous! I want Louis’ number, dang it..even though he is too young for me. haha! Anyways they have the 2 step tonight and to help him get in the country spirit Ty Murray is brought in. What a perfect person to get someone in the country mood, right? haha! Ty is so darn cute! Chelsie has never done this before so this could be a bit shaky. Chelsie wants him to look tough and compared him to a girl…ouch was what Louis said.  Louis came out in some chaps and Ty said he looked like “mini-me with long hair” and that is soooo true. Louis needs a booster to get on a horse b/c he is so tiny. haha! I am laughing at this Ty/Louis bit. So funny.  They do a death spiral at first. I love the intricate turns and how they keep the beat with their feet. They had a nice trick at the end and I was shocked he had the strength to pull it off, but he did and just flung her around. I thought they were cute and I would have liked to have seen a bit more movement. Len thought it was a series of walks and then Chelsie did something and felt there wasn’t enough going on. Bruno thought it was dazed and confused and he got by with his charm and smile. Carrie Ann said he didn’t feel any of the music coming through him, but Chelsie was working it though.   I love Louis hair tonight - it is the feathered look!!  Scores were2 5’s and a 6 from Bruno for a total of 16 out of 30.

Last up is Maya and Dmitry Chaplin dancing the Lambada. Maya wants to keep things simple, but he is all about comprimising…which is pretty good for a pro. Let’s see how sexy this dance it. I actually can’t wait.  They start real close like they are gonna kiss. Her body is shiny tonight. She is letting the hips lose andthey get raunchy. Len will like it. Wow this was HOT HOT HOT and honestly I loved every moment of it. I couldn’t even type b/c I couldn’t take my eyes off that hotness. Audience is on their feet. Good stuff. Wonder if Maya is married? Bruno said it was an erotic, exotic roller coaster and you’d want to ride it over and over again. haha! Carrie Ann said she was on fire - she thought she brought a classy sophistication to it. Len never find their routines boring or that they are going to go wrong. Len thought he was going to get a bit more in this dance b/c of his high expectatons and her high standards. Boo Len! Scores were 2 10’s and an 8 from Len. Carrie Ann and Bruno sat with their backs to Len which was really cute. Total 28 out of 30.

Ok, really loved Maya and I hate to say it but Donny was good. Melissa was great tonight. Loved Joanna and Derek and Kelly and Louis. What do you think?

Dancing with the Stars Week 3 Results

Samantha looks great tonight in black and her hair back to normal. Looking good, Sam. We get some recaps from last night. Of course they had to show the whole Donny gag me with a spoon airy fairy solo and his craziness with Bruno. Aaron cried in the confessional and Karina comforted him. Are we 10 years old, Aaron? Is your name Shannon Elizabeth, Aaron? No! Stop the crying then, Aaron! Len picked Chuck Liddell and Anna Trebunskaya’s Samba as the encore. Woot! Good thing he didn’t dance it like this last night because that was NOT good. It all started with him not pulling his sleeve off fast enough. I still think he’s a cutie pie. LOL!

They are teasing us about whether 1 or 2 stars will be leaving us tonight. They are referring to Tom DeLay pulling out of the competition because of his stress fractures. I hope he does pull out and then I hope they keep whoever was voted out tonight in the competition. That’s my 2 cents though. Anyways, Queen Latifah is in DA HOUSE! She looks awesome! Maksim and Cheryl are dancing to the Queen. They look awesome together. Isn’t Cheryl single and Maks now too? Hmmm…

So now we are finally gonna get on with the show - the men are going to find out if they are safe are in the bottom. Tom DeLay and Cheryl Burke are safe. BOO! Michael Irvin and Anna Demidova are in jeopardy. Chuck Liddell and Anna Trebunskaya are safe.

Tom and Cheryl are with Tom and Sam. Sam asked him if he can continue to dance. He says no - he can’t practice and he doesn’t want to embarrass Cheryl. Awww! They are dropping out of the competition. Tom told Tom that if he is feeling better by the time the season is over, they want him to come back and do the Texas 2 Step. But - we are still going to eliminate another couple. Boo! :(

Maya and Dmitry Chaplin are safe. Natalie Coughlin and Alec Mazo are also safe. Joanna Krupa and Derek Hough are in jeopardy.

Donny Osmond and Kym Johnson are safe. Louis Vito and Chelsie Hightower are also safe. WOOHOO! Aaron Carter and Karina Smirnoff are in jeopardy. Mark Dacascos and Lacey Schwimmer are safe.

The design the dance competition is back and apparently America chose Sabrina Bryan as the star they want back. That’s cool - I really thought they’d choose Helio Castroneves, but whatever. I like Sabrina and thought she was robbed on Season 5. We now have Jabberwalkies the winner of MTV’s Best Dance Crew. They are really good and they wear white masks all the time. Pretty earie, but awesome at the same time. Look at that, Mark Ballas and Lacey Schwimmer were apart of the Jabberwalkies wearing a mask and we didn’t even know it.

Queen Latifah is back singing to “Ease on Down the Road.”I just listened and didn’t watch it, but I did catch her dancing out of the corner of my eye.

Next we have a taped bit about statistics and who will win and I totally didn’t pay attention. Just filler to make this thing go an hour. We are back to determine who is safe and who is not. Debi Mazar and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are in jeopardy. Kelly Osbourne and Louis Van Amstel are safe as are Melissa Joan Hart and Mark Ballas.

Next safe couple out of the “in jeopardy” couples are Joanna Krupa and Derek Hough. Joining them are Aaron Carter and Karina Smirnoff. Michael Irvin and Debi Mazar in the bottom 2. Leaving us tonight is Debi Mazar and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. So, we lost 2 couples tonight - Tom DeLay and Cheryl Burke and Debi Mazar and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Until next week…

Dancing with the Stars Week 3

Posted By: admin On: October 6, 2009 Comments: ( 2 )

Tonight we have Sambas and Rumbas - and it is supposed to be sexy. However, remembering from years past sometimes it is not so sexy. We shall see. First impressions…Aaron Carter is wearing a blue bathrobe over pants of course.  Chuck Liddell is wearing layers upon layers on his arms. His arms are actually flapping in the wind with so much material. Anna’s hair on top is super high. Mark and Lacey look normal. Gagger looks normal too and Kym actually looks quite elegant. WOW! Chelsie and Louis look hot hot hot. Louis hair is slicked back and he is showing some chest. Owowowow!  Michel and Anna are in hot pink. Wasn’t he in pink last week? He must think it looks good on him. He has no sleeves though and is showing off his toned arms. Ewww - Tom DeLay is wearing a red/white striped shirt and red pants that come up way too far giving him a man camel toe (I know that is TMI, but it is the truth). Cheryl is in blue and white and she is sporting stars. If you combine them you have the American Flag. Maks looks hot tonight - eat your heart out Karina. Debi looks uncomfy in her getup and I am not digging her curly sue hair.  I didn’t recognize Melissa Joan Hart, but she looks great - she reminds me of someone tonight. It will come to me. Mark Ballas’ hair is way out of control sticking up all over the place. Maya looks awesome in a gray off one shoulder dress and Dmitry is showing WAY too much chest. He always has to outdo Maks with the open shirt thing. Len won’t like that. Natalie is showing lots of skin and looks fabulous in what appears to be a bedsheet draped over her. Alec also has his shirt way too far open trying to outdo Dmitry and Maks. Joanna looks like Latin Barbie tonight. Kelly Osbourne has on a brownish/red bob of  wig  and a gold get up while Louis Van Amstel is in animal print. Grrrr…

Ok, have to pause while I put my 92% fat free hamburger on the grill. Stay with me people…oh and before I leave you I must say Samantha’s hair is back to normal. Thank you hair people!! Samantha tells us that Tom DeLay has a full stress fracture in his foot this week and it has been touch and go all day. Will the show go on without Tom? We can only hope. LOL!

Mark Dacascos and Lacey Schwimmer are up first. Gosh, I still don’t know how to spell his name. I have to look it up every single time and it bugs me. They have the Rumba and Mark is bouncing from wall to wall like a little kid during rehearsals where as the Rumba needs to be slow. We shall see how hot this Rumba is as he holds a few hands of some ladies out in the audience. He certainly has the hip action down. He is doing a lot of posing and this doesn’t look very sexy to me. It was just ok to me. I don’t think these two have a lot of chemistry, but that is just me.  Len said grumpy is back and he thought it lacked a bit of chemistry, but loved how Lacey swung around on one leg. Bruno said it was an anti-climax calling it too staccato  - it lacked fluidity. Carrie Ann said something is lacking with their connection - he needs to find his sensuality. She said it was uncomfortable to watch. Scores were all 6’s for an 18 out of 30.

Joanna Krupa and Derek Hough have the Samba and it appears that in practice she is really shaking her stuff - Derek calls it nasty and it surely looks like that. I’m wondering if it will be too raunchy for Len. We shall see. Derek swings in on a black rope like Tarzan. How dramatic! The crowd is eating that up. I, however, am not. LOL!  This is certainly sexy but her last move did not have a pointed toe and it looked gross. She had great hips though and looked like she had fun. Bruno said the good times are back - full of excitement and life, but some footwork was unsteady. Carrie Ann agrees but says she loves how she is fearless. Len said it had quality stamped all over it. Scores were 2 8’s and a 7 from Carrie Ann for a total of 23 out of 30.

Maya and Dmitry Chaplin have the Rumba and they are now back to traditional style to please Len. Maya wasn’t feeling the romance so she dressed up the studio with rose petals, candles, etc. Not sure if it helped or not. Oh and she has on blue/purple dress not gray. It originally looked gray to me. Now this is how a Rumba should be. She did the splits and he lifted her up really slowly which was totally sexy. This was one hot Rumba! Wow! Great! Paula Abdul and Lance Bass are in the audience. Carrie Ann said it was ridiculous and she had chills - she couldn’t call a lift b/c she was so mesmerized. haha! Eat it Carrie Ann. Len said be still my beating heart, but for him there was so much going on that they needed some simplicity. Bruno said she put everyone in America in the mood for love.  Scores were 2 10’s and a 7 from Len. WTH, Len? For Real? 27 out of 30 is their total.

Melissa Joan Hart decked out in orange fringe and lots of it and Mark Ballas have the Samba. Mark is getting tough with Melissa this week and we’ll see if it helps at all. She looks a bit weird in the shoulders like too bouncy and out of control. I really thought though that this is probably one of her better dances - good for her. Len thought parts were really excellent and loved how she came out and performed. He wants more from the waist up. Bruno said he knew she could switch it on - much improved. Carrie Ann said she improves every week, but there was something about it that she doesn’t believe where she still senses the fear in her.  Scores were 2 6’s and a 7 from Bruno for a total of 19 out of 30.

Louis Vito and Chelsie Hightower look like they are getting too close for comfort. hmmm…could a relationship be brewing? Ok, I couldn’t take my eyes off of them during their rehearsal to even type. I love these too together. WOW - that was some hot stuff right there. They danced to “Total Eclipse of the Heart” and I freakin LOVED IT! HOT HOT HOT. Bruno said “that’s chemistry” but at times quite jerky, but he loved the performance. Carrie Ann said their chemistry was unbelievable and he gives good frame. Len so much wanted to be nice, but the thought it was wild - no finesse. He was disappointed. BOO! Len is an old fuddy duddy tonight. We want Baz back. Scores were 8 from CA, 7 from Bruno and a 5 from Len. WTH, Len? Len you suck tonight. Total score 20 out of 30.

Debi Mazar and Maksim Chmerkovskiy have the Samba and she needs to be quiet this week. Her words, not mine. haha! Maks brings in Mel B. and she talked about being in the bottom 2, but how Maks took her all the way to the finals. She is bouncing around like it needs to be, but her top half looks a bit weird and the ending didn’t look right. Did something not work out with the steps? I don’t know. Carrie Ann thought it was cute, but it felt a hair safe. Told her to watch her turns and not be so worried about it. Len said they were neat and precise, but it was like cooking - had all the ingredients but it lacked flavor. Bruno said she went wrong twice, but told her to work it. Scores were 2 6’s and a 5 for a total of 17 out of 30. Len gave Louis and Chelsie a 5 and I swear those 2 dances didn’t even compare.

Donny Gag Osmond has the sexy Rumba this week and honestly I feel I might throw up in my mouth because of it. Ick! He is having issues with the sexy part b/c he feels like everyone knows him as a happy go lucky and rarely does anyone see this side of him. I hope I don’t see it to be honest with you. They dance to “Endless Love.” I am giggling at this beginning solo part. haha! He looks like twinkle toes. The ending was nice and romantic, but the other stuff was not. I just wanted to laugh watching it. Len said he needs to straighten his legs, but that he did a great job. Whatever. Bruno said it was a bit airy fairy at times….hahaha! LMAO! I agree. Bruno told him to come to the darkside in which Donny went over and dipped Bruno not once but twice. LOL!  Carrie Ann says it was very daring to do a solo, but said he lost his musicality, but she liked the genuine vulnerability. ICK is what I say. Scores were all 7’s for a total of 21 out of 30. Samantha told Donny that he should have given Bruno the tongue for a higher score. Samantha - you dirty girl!

Tom is in the audience with Paula Abdul and Lance Bass. He asked her about the show - she thinks it is great. She called out Len and wants to make out with Carrie Ann. She’s nutzoid! Poor Lance didn’t get any Mic time.

Michael Irvin and Anna Demidova have the Samba and are arguing up a storm in rehearsal. I love it! He can’t stand how she teaches him one new thing when he hasn’t even gotten the last step. And yes, they were wearing hot pink last week too. Ok this has some soul to it. He is light on his feet tonight. That was a lot of fun for me. It wasn’t chock full of difficult moves, but it was fun and entertaining. Bruno thought he was going in reverse gear - saying there was no rhythm. Huh? Carrie Ann said the problem is he is dancing too small. Len said it was a bit disaappointing and how it was a hard dance for a big guy. I think he gets a 10 for entertainment value. Scores were 2 5’s and a 4 from Len for a total of 14 out of 30.

Natalie Coughlin and Alec Mazo have the Rumba and she is also having sexy issues. Natalie’s face gets red each time her and Alec get close. Edyta, Alec’s wife, comes in and shows her how it is done with more eye contact. The beginning was super dramatic with a smoke machine behind Alec and he held a sheer sheet that was over the top of Natalie as she was on the ground below. Sexy already. They dance to “In the Air Tonight.” She actually looked him the eye tonight and had some super sexy moves with her leg up in the air. Wow this was super hot and sexy. She did awesome!   The last trick was amazing where she swung around and did a death spiral while ending up in the splits between his legs. owowowo! Carrie Ann said she knew she had it in her. She said it was gorgeous and intense. Len thought it was very expressive, great leg action, and chemistry. Bruno called her a sexy beast and to bring more of that. Scores were 2 9’s and an 8 from Len for a total of 26 out of 30.

Chuck Liddell and Anna Trebunskaya have the Samba which explains his crazy outfit. Chuck went to get a pedi with his daughter and I believe he got his toes painted pink. hehe! In the rehearsals he really looks like twinkle toes. I hope he can pull this out. He pulls his crazy arms off and now is sleeveless - much better.  He does a side kick out towards the judges table. haha! He has a nice smile on and is actually getting into this dance like I have never seen him before. I think he is so darn cute. The middle and end part was actually great. He looked like a dancer. So proud of him. I had fun watching that. Len gave Anna congrats for doing a great job with Chuck. He was thoroughly entertained. Bruno can see the huge amount of work that went into it, but it was a Samba from Zombie town. LOL! Carrie Ann said she loves his spirit and she did enjoy it. Scores were 2 6’s and a 5 from Len for a total of 17 out of 30.

Aaron Carter and Karina Smirnoff is backstage dancing with Donny. Siiick! They have the Rumba tonight which explains his baby blue bathrobe. He does a sexy stare in practice and Karina just giggles. Hmmm…not sure what it was about this, but I didn’t really like it. Weird! Bruno thought it had plenty of attack and focus and it lacked fluidity. I agree with Bruno. Carrie Ann loved his lines and he is over exaggerating everything. Len thought said it lacked musicality because of his arms. He said he is just flinging them. Scores were 1 8, 1 6 and a 7 from Bruno for a total of 21 out of 30.

Tom DeLay and Cheryl Burke have the Samba tonight. We don’t know if he will be able to dance though because of the stress fracture. The producers and his doctor told him to withdraw from the competition. He is not giving up though which is good. Apparently he has 2 sore feet and not just 1. They are with Tom. He has a stress fracture in both feet now. Tom asked him what is he gonna do and he said “what’s a little pain when you can party.” He is ready for a good challenge and is up for the Samba. Hmmm. Here they go… He is keeping up with her, but he is just gross when he dances. LOL! He got through it and kept a smile on his face. He looked like he had fun out there. I’m glad someone did. Carrie Ann said he is easy on the eyes when he dances, but it wasn’t as exciting as it could be. Len thought he was a hero - well done, but careful. Bruno called him a super trooper, but the performance sufferred. Scores were 1 6, 1 4 and a 5 from Bruno for a total of 15 out of 30.

Kelly Osbourne and Louis Van Amstel have the Samba this week. She is coming off a bad week and her confidence is shaky. I hope she pulls herself out this week. I want her to go far. She dances to “Love Game.” This was super fun. They kissed on the lips and then at the end they really kissed. owowowow! It was cute and she kept up really well. She just needs to not dance so small at times because she could be a power house. Otherwise, I thought it was lots of fun and this should boost her confidence. They are so darn cute!  Len thought she needs to convince herself that she is a good dancer. Bruno said this week she is back and to forget about doubt. Carrie Ann thought she needs to stay focused because what she does right is way beyond..whatever. I don’t know what she said.  Scores were 2 7’s and a 6 from Len for a total of 20 out of 30.

Loved Louis and Chelsie, Maya and Dmitry, and Natalie and Alec. Who were your faves this week?

Season 9 Week 2 Results

Posted By: admin On: September 30, 2009 Comments: ( 1 )

We’re baaaack! Oh wow - love Samantha’s dress, but her hair looks like she put her finger in a light socket…way frizzy, curly and big. I am not digging it. I like her with straight silky hair. We start the night off with recaps and backstage confessionals. I am fast forwarding through the recaps and listening to the confessionals, but there is nothing newsworthy to report ‘cept Kelly Osbourne said this week was crap for her. Baz wants to see Maya and Dmitry’s jive tonight as the encore dance. It was great even a second time. Woot!

The first three couples that are safe are: Donny “gag” Osmond and Kym Johnson, Maya and Dmitry Chaplin, Aaron Carter and Karina Smirnoff. No surprises there - those were the top scorers from last night. This week the scores are closer than they’ve ever been so we might have an upset. Let’s hope not!

Joss Stone is performing and 2 pros that I don’t know. I also do not like Joss’ voice so I will probably fast forward through this bit. Yes that is exactly what I’m doing.

Now we get to see the training center where everyone gets to practice. They all fight for the big room that has the stairs where the judges sit. All the walls are painted crazy colors. All the stars spy on each other. Chuck Liddell was up in the raptors spying on Michael and Anna. Derek busts in on Alec and Natalie which was hilarious. Aaron stole someone’s boombox. I didn’t realize how much fun they had during rehearsals as all we see is the grueling work they put in. Glad they have some time for fun and I like seeing them backstage. Something different…

Mark Dacascos and Lacey are safe as are Natalie Coughlin and Alec Mazo. Debi Mazar and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are in jeopardy.

Now more “entertainment” for me to fast forward through. This time it is cutesy Selena Gomez who is singing a song I have no idea what it is.. But wait - here comes Derek Hough and Karina Smirnoff so I won’t be fast forwarding through this bit. I love me some pros - our normal pro’s not pro’s like above that we know nothing about. Karina’s butt cheeks are peeking through a bit with her outfit. Hmmm…

Up on the stage now are the couples that received just 20 points from the judges. We will receive their fate according to Tom. Joanna Krupa and Derek Hough are safe. Michael Irvin and Anna Demidova are also safe.

Next up on the stage are the couples that received 19 points from the judges. Chuck Liddell and Anna Trebunskaya are safe. Melissa Joan Hart and Mark Ballas are also safe. Kelly Osbourne and Louis Van Amstel are safe as well. Louis Vito and Chelsie Hightower are in jeopardy. BOO! :(

Next we have a taped bit about the stars bad habits and how the pros try to break them of that. I wasn’t paying any attention. Now we have more entertainment with USC Trojan Marching Band who apparently have albums out. Ok - hmm…I will not say anything at all about this bit. I’m bored. Going to grab a glass of wine.  The marching band was playing “Get down tonight.” Ya know, do a little dance, make a little love - marching band style. Not my style I do know that. Ugh - I just sat down with my glass of wine and Joss is back. Luckily we have our very own pros taking the edge off. Dmitry, Anna, Louis and Cheryl are keeping me entertained whie I sip on some Oliver Soft Red wine. The wine is yummy. In case you were interested she is singing “Son of a Preacher Man.”

Tom DeLay and Cheryl Burke are safe now. Kathy Ireland and Tony Dovolani are in jeopardy. Dum Dum Dum. Tonight they are going to reveal who is truly in the bottom 2. Woohoo I say! They should do that every week and give the couples a wake up call.

Now we have all 3 couples who are jeopardy on stage while Sam and Tom tells us one more time what the judges told us last night. Next safe couple is Louis Vito and Chelsie Hightower. Yayy! That leaves us with the bottom 2 of Debi Mazar and Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Kathy Ireland and Tony Dovolani. Leaving us tonight are Kathy Ireland and Tony Dovolani. Let’s face it - she just wasn’t cut out for this. Poor Tony - is he ever gonna win?

Dancing with the Stars Week 2

Posted By: admin On: September 29, 2009 Comments: ( 1 )

Tonight the men and women are dancing against each other on the same night. Wow - if I have to endure another 5 hour week of DWTS, I think I might die. Don’t get me wrong, I love Dancing with the Stars, but these 2 hour shows two nights in a row and then followed by a 1 hour show the next night is a bit much. It is enough to drive a blogger who is limited on time crazy. Anyways, tonight we have jives and quicksteps which happen to be my two favorite dances. Yayy! In the previews I did see Debi smack Maks - but I am guessing they were acting.

First impressions - Aaron Carter looks like he belongs on a box of Lucky Charms. He has a green suit on - All green! Icky Poo! Chuck Liddell has something on the side of his head - kinda looks like a tattoo. I couldn’t tell because he kept his head turned. Weird. Lacey and Mark look cute. Donny looks like a dork. Louis and Chelsie are darling as they look like they are going to a modern sock hop. Michael and Anna are decked out in hot pink and I must say it looks good on him. Cheryl also has green on (way prettier than Aaron’s Green) and Tom Delay has a black suit on with a green matching tie. They look elegant. Melissa Joan Hart and Mark Ballas are in red/white polka dots. She reminded me of Minnie Mouse.  Maya is wearing a short bob of a wig with bangs and lots of fringe. I don’t like her wig. Natalie Couglin is wearing light purpe and looks gorgeous! Joanna Krupa is showing some tummy and looks like a rocker chick. Kelly Osborne is wearing a red gown and looks great!  And we have a guest judge in Len’s place tonight -  Baz Luhrmann who directed Moulon Rouge.

Joanna Krupa and Derek Hough are up first this week with the Jive. She started off by running to him and he slid her through his legs. Her toes were NOT pointed and it did not look nice. haha! Look at me pointing out these things as if I am the judge. I am a judge, ok? LOL! Oh and BTW, she has on a long wig that looks gross and gray. I do not like it. She is doing really well keeping up with Derek. Wow - this is pretty fast and she is right there along with him. What I love about her is she just lets it all out. You can tell she is having fun. Her kicks and flicks are pretty good too which is what they always look for. My only criticism is that they could have had more kicks and flicks, but it was really high energy. Carrie Ann loved the energy and gusto, but said her feet were a bit spastic and not pointed. Bruno said the flicks and kicks weren’t precise. Baz wanted to see more connection between the two - the relationship. Scores were 2 7’s and a 6 from Carrie Ann for a total of 20 out of 30.

Natalie Couglin and Alec Mazo have the Quickstep this week. In practice she is having issues with breathing since she is so used to holding her breath for swimming. I think that is pretty interesting that she brings that to the dance floor. All I know is we don’t want another Marie Osmond episode by not enough breathing, so please Nat, BREATHE! They jumped off the top step of the stage, wow - her in heels! Weird. Her hold/frame is really weak. Her high kick was nice and the kicking in and out banter with Alec was good. Her splits were good, but not going into them as her toes were not pointed. Once she got into the splits she pointed them and that looked better. This just didn’t feel like a Quickstep to me because it was not very quick. She also looked a bit uncomfy. Bruno told her to relax and she could be amazing. Baz agrees with Bruno, but liked the 2nd half b/c she was in the moment and lit up the room. Carrie Ann said she is her favorite b/c she likes watching her move. She wants her to think of Alec as an extension of her. Scores were all 7’s for a 21 out of 30.

Chuck Liddell and Anna Trebunskaya have the Tango this week. Hmm…I thought it was just jives and Quicksteps. Boo! :(  He looks like he might be good at this with his fighter background. I hope he doesn’t freeze. And yes, he does have a cougar, panther or something on the side of his head. Looks kinda crazee!  He has on the perfect mean face. He is a little forward in his leaning and he is kind of hard footed, but he certainly has the face down and the fierceness. At the end Anna rips off his shirt and he opens his mouth wide. LOL! Baz thought Len would rip him to pieces, but liked seeing him strong and the ability to face fear. Carrie Ann was frightened, but said that the dance had impact. Bruno said he could see the work he put into it - working very hard. Bruno asked us to vote for him as he is amazing. Aww - Chuck is my gentle giant. He is growing on me. Scores were 2 6’s and a 7 from Baz for a total of 19 out of 30. And Baz is pretty consistent with his 7. Let’s see if he has another paddle under that table.

Melissa Joan Hart and Mark Ballas has the jive this week.  Mark does the splits over her shoulders. Looks like she missed some kicks, but couldn’t tell. She is a lot looser this week and having some fun. This dance was a lot of fun and I bet she is glad to have it over with and under her belt. LOL! She did pretty well I thought. Carrie Ann screamed out and is so happy. She loved it. Bruno said so much was going on up there, but not a lot down there - she needed to check her feet. Baz thought it was a big improvement from last week, but to work on the steps. Scores were 2 6’s and a 7 from Carrie Ann. Baz gave a 6 this time. The audience BOO’d and I really thought it was better than a 19 out of 30.

Michael Irvin and Anna Demidova have the Quickstep this week. They work literally all day and night trying to perfect this. Wow he is serious. This is looking pretty good actually. This dance definitely did not lack content. It could have been faster for my taste, but that’s just me.  Bruno liked that it had content calling it proper. He said he improved. Baz said he confronted the challenge and he had great charm, but the timing was a bit off. Carrie Ann said this week was like a touchdown compared to last week and complimented Anna for coming back this week with content. Scores were 2 7’s and a 6 from Bruno and the audience is booing Bruno for a total of 20 out of 30.

Debi Mazar and Maksim Chmerkovskiy have the Tango tonight. So, I am guess the slap is part of getting in the mood of the Tango. She kicks Maks although she doesn’t make contact. She asks him to be more patient and he says “Never.” Looks like they are getting into it for reals. She is getting upset and crying for how he is treating her. He apologizes for how he treated her and then she smacked him. LOL! Good for her! Ok, this is looking good - a nice love/hate relationship. They are dancing to “Roxanne” but it sounds like the Count from Sesame Street singing it. haha! I think they captured the essence of the tango here. Baz also said “love/hate” just like me..haha - he loved how they played that story out. Carrie Ann called her the drama queen and she worked it on the dance floor. Bruno loves how she channels the feisty ball breaker, but said to work on the shaky parts. Maks doesn’t want her to continue channeling the ball breaker. LOL! Scores were all 7’s for a 21 out of 30. 7 is a popular score tonight, geez.

Louis Vito and Chelsie Hightower have the jive.  Can’t wait to see this actually. Wow he does a semi flip off the top of the steps over Chelsie sitting on them. WOW! Love his tricks! They start right in with some nice kicks and flicks. Great high kicks! Wow - I loved this! Carrie Ann loves the joy he has while dancing, but said he had moments where he lost touch with the music. Bruno said at times he did too little, but in the parts he did things he did great. Baz thought they were a great couple, but thought his jacket worked against him since it was too big, but he thought they captured what the jive should be. Scores were 2 6’s and a 7 for a 19 out of 30. Boo on that score!

Aaron Carter and Karina Smirnoff do some crazy jumping stuff back stage. I don’t get it. This week they have the Quickstep. Looks like they have some pretty intense practices this time around. And…the muppets are in on this dance…interrupting the band. They are dancing to the Muppets Theme. Weird! It still doesn’t explain his Lucky Charms suit that doesn’t match Karina’s dress. They are actually doing a great Quickstep which seems like the best one so far. That was great! The ended it by doing the death spiral and landing on their stomachs and he gave her a kiss on the cheek. I really enjoyed this from them. Bruno called it spectacular and he stood up while he said it. Bruno loved how he commanded the performance but said the danger is he will have to live up to it. Baz loved how he is growing from one performance to the next. Carrie Ann who is also wearing green - she called it truly a pleasure. She loved the tight hold and pizazz. That doesn’t look like it is spelled right, but I don’t care. Oh, I get it, Karina is supposed to be Miss Piggy and Aaron is supposed to be Kermit in green. Ahhh - it all makes sense now. Scores were all 9’s for a total of 27 out of 30. WOW! Good for them.

Kelly Osborne and Louis Van Amstel have the Tango and she is a nervous wreck because she only has 3 days to learn it as opposed to 4 weeks to learn her dance from last week - which was awesome. Here we go… WOW, Louis is known for being fast, but this Tango is extremely fast. It almost looks like a violent Quickstep. Some of the footwork is not together - she is a little ahead of him. She tried, but it wasn’t the best. Baz said there were mistakes, but she never gave up. Carrie Ann agrees with Baz and told her to stay in character. Bruno said it was a shame, but said she can do it. Scores were 2 6’s and a 7 from Baz for a 19 out of 30.

Kathy Ireland and Tony Dovolani have the Quickstep tonight. They are bouncing quite nicely, however this isn’t very quick. Maybe it will speed up. It didn’t. Honestly I think she did fine, but it didn’t seem like a real quickstep to me. Carrie Ann thought this suited her much better than the Salsa. She wants her to break through and not be too reserved. Carrie Ann wants Tony to get closer. Bruno wants her to be engaging. Baz thought it was elegant and beautiful and thought it wasn’t exciting like the Quickstep needs to be. Scores were all 6’s for an 18 out of 30.

Mark Dacascos and Lacey Schwimmer have the Quickstep too. He does the splits over her from the audience. Nice toe point during too. He is doing GREAT! Nice high splits and toe point. He is doing wonderfully keeping up and the last trick it looks like Lacey’s hips made him flip in the air and fall. NICE! Bruno called him a great performer if only he could get his feet under control. Baz thought it was an incredible comeback after that first fall. He fell? When? I ddn’t see it. I will have to rewind. Carrie Ann likes how tight and clean he was when he dances. She told him to breathe and relax a little more. I rewound it and I saw him slip, but he recovered nicely. Scores were all 7’s for a 21 out of 30.

Maya and Dmitry Chaplin are jiving tonight. Dmitry is dressed like a nerd and it looks kinda gross. Her turns are spot on and she is doing this wonderfully. Loved this dance! Loved them! Shawn Johnson is on her feet. Wow! Good scores I’m sure. Baz thought it was the real deal - fantastic. He loved the speed, accuracy and loved the story of the dance. Carrie Ann said Len would not have liked the beginning, LOL, but good thing he wasn’t there. She liked everything. Bruno is going on and on with nonsense like usual - he loved it though. Scores were all 9’s for a total of 27 out of 30.

Tom DeLay and Cheryl Burke have the Tango. Apparently Tom’s tootsies are hurting him specifically his toes. Let’s see if it hinders him. He certainly has the head motions right and he isn’t giving himself whip lash like he was in practice. The last trick he almost dropped Cheryl but he looks like he is in pain. Carrie Ann says there is something alluring by watching them dance and she calls it odd - she loved it until the end. She told him to “squeeze them together, sir.” LMAO! Bruno said he nearly pulled it out of the bag, but then it went to pieces. Baz thought it was a cliffhanger due to the ending, but loved his hold. Scores were all 6’s for a total of 18 out of 30.

Last but not least is Donny “Gag” Osmond pulling up the rear with the Jive. Will 51 year old Don be able to keep up? He has nice kicks so far. I would like to see more though, but it was a fun dance even for the Gag man. It was entertaining I will say that. Bruno said mission accomplished, well pitched, well executed, and thought it was a very good job. Baz loved that the dance knows no age. He loved it. Carrie Ann called it an amazing performance. Scores were 2 8’s and a 9 from Baz who I think was kissing some A$$ with that score. Total score 25 out of 30.

Loved Aaron Carter this week as well as Maya. Everyone else was just all right for my taste - and I still think Louis and his smile are cute! What are your thoughts?

Dancing with the Stars Week 1 Results

Posted By: admin On: September 28, 2009 Comments: ( 2 )

This will be short and sweet simply because week 2 is coming on tonight. Busy busy time for me  - so blogging has taken a back seat. Here we go quickly…

Kelly Osbourne and Louis Van Amstel were asked to do the encore dance. An encore dance this soon? hmmm…did we not have any entertainment or Macy’s dancers to fill that slot. LOL! I actually like the encore dances though and think we could have a little less special entertainment if you know what I mean. As Kelly and Louis were finishing and did their special trick at the end I saw her mouth to Louis “I didn’t take my foot off the ground.” She was referring to the “lift” that Carrie Ann called her out on the night before. Anyways - they were just as beautiful as ever.

First safe couple is Chelsie Hightower and Louie Vito (I had to look up his last name again, darn it) . Aaron Carter and Karina Smirnoff are also safe.

Well apparently our special entertainment hasn’t gone away completely. Shawn or Sean Kingston is now singing and I am fast forwarding. Nice that his album is dropping tomorow - perfect timing.

We now get a taped bit about “the Loser’s Club” which consists of people who got voted off first. LOL! It was actually pretty funny. Good times!

Next safe couple is Mark Dacascos and Lacey Schwimmer. Also safe are Chuck Liddell and Anna Trebunskaya. Wow, another safe couple (they are revealing a lot) are Donny “Gag” Osmond and Kym Johnson. And after commercial we are gonna get a tribute to Patrick Swayze. Awwww! I love Patrick!

We are now gonna find out who of the men are leaving us. Next 2 safe couples are Tom DeLay and Cheryl Burke. Leaving us out of the men are Ashley Hamilton and Edyta Sliwinska. Dang, is Edyta ever gonna win? That means Michael Irvin and Anna Demidova are safe as well.

Now we get the world premier video of Miley Cyrus’ video - as if I care. Fast Forwarding!!!! Tired of this filler stuff. The results could be 3o min if we didn’t have it, ya know, ABC! Courtney Cox is in the audience promoting her new show. Love me some Courtney!

Next 2 safe couples for the women are: Natalie Coughlin and Alec Mazo as well as Maya and Dmitry Chaplin.

Next taped bit is Adam Corolla coming in on his unicycle giving the men a pep talk. He wants the men to win this season! Adam asked Donny if he brought any smelling salts as Osmonds are prone to faint and then he said btw, Donny, you are 51, when can we start calling you Don? LMAO! He said some other funny stuff and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Macy’s dancers are back are performing Circle of Life from the Lion King. Sorry - no time for this  - fast forwarding.

Next 3 safe women are: Melissa Joan Hart and Mark Ballas, Joanna Krupa and Derek Hough, Debi Mazar and Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

Tribute to Patrick Swayzee is up next - awww - am I gonna cry? Probably I’m so incredibly emotional these days. Our pros are dancing and are starting off with “She’s like the Wind” which is the song he sang for Dirty Dancing. Chelsie and Dmitry start us off. It is beautiful. Next is a tribute to Ghost with “Unchained Melody.” Real life married couple, Jonathon Roberts and Anna Trebunskaya are dancing for us now.  “The Time of My Life” is up and Cheryl and Tony are showing us the same dance they did in the movie. I am getting chills. Here come the tears. I’m guessing I will never be able to watch Dirty Dancing again without crying. Cheryl just did the lift. Awww - that was great!

Next back to the results - Kelly Osbourne and Louis Van Amstel as well as Kathy Ireland and Tony Dovolani are also safe. Macy Gray and Jonathon Roberts are leaving us.

I’m not surprised at either Ashley or Macy leaving.  Are you with me?
