Welcome back to the long, drawn out results show. My money is on no one being eliminated this evening. Yes, DWTS is that predictable. It saddens me. I just figured out where I saw Toni Braxton’s horrible dress before. Remember way back in the 90’s when Madonna performed “Vogue” on the MTV Music Awards? Back when MTV still played videos? Anyway, same dress only not in gold.
Recaps, recaps, recaps. Time for more wine already. All this recrapping (that is not a typo!) reminds me of how Carrie Ann Inaba looked like a drag queen last night. Fun times.
Nice, Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Edyta Sliwinska are doing the Jive he choreographed for Misty May-Treanor. It is very cute. I would have liked to see if Misty could have pulled it off.
What’s with Samantha Harris and all of the fake hair. Someone please tell her it looks silly. Her earrings are as big as my head, not her head because it is giant, but my head for sure.
Let me say, that Warren Sapp is growing on me, but I am mostly happy that Kym Johnson finally has a decent partner. Yay!
First safe are Brooke Burke & Derek Hough and Cloris Leachman & Corky Ballas! Wow, either I am right and no one is out tonight or Rocco DiSpirito is getting axed.
The special guest is Kool and the Gang. Yep, that’s cool all right!! WooHoo. There are some dancers I don’t know, but the girl is 10 feet taller than the guy, nice. Now it is group dancing time. The dancing is swell, but mostly I love hearing all of these old tunes. “Celebration” is one of the best songs of all time. It reminds me of high school. Go Pirates!
Montage about the celebs previous careers and secret talents. Maybe now I will learn who the heck Brooke Burke is! Nope, she talks about her multi-tasking. Wow Brooke, that’s an amazing skill…whatever.
In no particular order the next safe couple are Maurice Greene & Cheryl Burke. Not a surprise.
Samantha does an interview backstage, Cloris Leachman says something that is very hard to understand. They do a really tight shot on Cheryl Burke’s chubby face, ouch.
Rockette time. Does ABC own Radio City Music Hall? We all know I don’t care for group dances, so I’ll refrain from comment.
Jennifer Hudson is going to sing now. She looks great. Wooh sultry. Oh Jeez, Derek & Julianne Hough are dancing together. She is nearly naked and they are dancing to a sultry love song. It totally creeps me out. Jennifer Hudson does not have much stage presence, but with vocals like that she does not really need it. Julianne Hough is now table dancing and Derek Hough is doing gymnastics.
Choreography montage. I don’t know who any of these people are. Nothing but love for all of the professionals. Of course.
I could have called this one. An injury montage. It was bound to happen. They love the drama.
Warren Sapp & Kym Johnson are also safe as are Toni Braxton & Alec Mazo. They a have to go backstage to talk to Samantha. Good luck with that one guys. It was not too painful, but honestly I spaced out a little bit.
Man, is this show over yet? I thought they were going to cut this to 1/2 an hour this season. They so should have. Ok, so now Tom & Samantha announce that no one is going home (score one for Bridget). However, they are going to announce who would have gone home because the scores are going to be combined with next weeks scores. Awesome. This is the first shot I’ve seen of Carrie, with some sort of crazy flower on the side of her head. Is she going for drag queen this season?
Susan Lucci & Tony Dovolani are safe. Yes, I typed that before they announced it…again. Also safe are Cody Linley & Julianne Hough, I guess some other people agreed with me that their Jive was great. Take that Rhonda!
Rocco DiSpirito & Karina Smirnoff would have gone home. If it weren’t for Cloris Leachman not dancing I would agree. However, she was not very funny tonight either so maybe it is close to time for her to exit. Don’t tell anyone I said that though.

let me see this is a dancing show about celebs dancing, and the least talented dancer is still dancing (jeffery ross notwithsatnding). Our expert blogger suddenly notices that the football player is light on his feet and is growing on her. Cloris is still alive and a top contender is down (sorry about the achilles misty).
Well I think i have it all straight Lets Hope Miss Bridget can finally recognize the ex-football player has some real moves next week

Yeah!!! I don’t have to wait until noon today to read your blog. Someone is staying on their toes! I don’t know where to begin! I think you are a legend in your own mind. Or maybe you should lay off the wine while you blog. I do agree with your sentiments about CA. She is very drag queen this year. I missed the show last night, so your RECRAP was delightful. I’m glad to hear that Warren Sapp is growing on you. If you want to know who Brooke Burke is there is a thing called Google you can use to assist your inquiring mind. And, by the by, I seriously doubt that your Italian racing friend will ever call you. Keep dreaming.

Wow, it is gang up on Bridget time. For the record, Warren Sapp scares me a little. If you’ll read my previous posts you’ll know that my heart was always with Misty who was not a bad dancer-so maybe I do know a thing or two. Also, don’t kid yourself into thinking this show is really about dancing. It is a popularity and personality contest with a little bit of dancing thrown in. We all know that plain old ballroom dancing contests would not be on a major network in primetime!

Miss Bridget it was far from a personal attack. Sapp Scares you the way opposing quaterbacks used to mewl in fear when they saw that look in his eye. Why, I completely left you alone about you comments on “crazy breasts” mostly because i found that nickname to be hilariously accurate.
