Well another night another elimination - a double one that is. And first up is Taylor Swift who I think sounds horrible live. ICK! Dancers I don’t know so I am fast forwarding through this agony. Now more recaps. Nothing newsworthy here.
First safe couple is Joanna Krupa and Derek Hough. Joining them are Mark Dacascos and Lacey Schwimmer.
Next two safe couples are: Donny Osmond and Kym Johnson and Aaron Carter and Karina Smirnoff to which she gave out a blood curdling scream. ACK!
More entertainment and I couldn’t understand a thing Tom and Sam were saying - not sure who this is and since our pros aren’t gonna be out there, I don’t really care. You know what the drill is - fast forward.
The stars are once again designing the costumes. We see a bunch of craziness going on but you know that the costume designer will not allow them to go all crazy like they are talking.
The bottom three couples are about to be announced. Whoever has the lowest overall combined totals leaves right away. Whoever is left will go through the dance off and the judges decide. Anyways, next safe couple is Maya and Dmitry. Joining them are Kelly Osbourne and Louis Van Amstel.
The bottom three are just as I predicted. Louis and Chelsie, Melissa and Mark, and Michael and Anna.
Taylor is back singing one of her hits that again doesn’t sound too great live, but our pro’s are dancing so I will listen and watch. Tony Dovolani is back, Jonathon and Anna, Maks, and Edyta. Love them all.
Next we have professional athletes telling us about practicing, mental approaches, etc. etc. Nadia Comaneci, the gymnast, Greg Louganis the diver (so great to see him - I loved him in the 80’s), Bill Walton the NBA player.
Ok the couple first to go is… Melissa Joan Hart and Mark Ballas. Awww - boo! She was shocked actually and Mark just hugged her. That means Louis and Chelsie and Michael and Anna are in the dance off. I hope Michael and Anna go.
Here we go with the dance off. Louis looks a bit nervous rubbing his hands and such. First up is Michael Irvin and Anna Demidova. They are dancing the Samba. He is really shaking his hips and having fun out there. They did miss a hand in the beginning and towards the end they missed another one, but not bad. Len thought he came alive tonight. Bruno thought it was a fun party. Carrie Ann thought he did well on the personality part, but not technique.
Louis Vito and Chelsie Hightower are up now to try to impress the judges. I hope they do it because I am not ready to see them go yet. They are dancing the jive with hats on. I am surprised he is doing this because of the timing and quickness. They mess up too - with their turns. It wasn’t the best jive ever..not sure it was even good. He looks upset. Poor guy couldn’t handle the pressure. Boo! I’m sad. Bruno said he was impressed by a lot of content. Carrie Ann said it was a good jive, but said she expected more from both couples. Len agrees with Carrie Ann - he thought it was sharp and clean, but something really bad happened over there, but overall well done. Hmmm… I thought it was worse than that.
The judges have made their decision. Bruno wants to save Louis Vito and Chelsie Hightower. Len wants to save Michael Irvin and Anna Demidova. Carrie Ann wants to save Michael Irvin and Anna Demidova. BOO!!! I am so ticked off right now. Louis Vito and Chelsie Hightower are the second victim of the double elimination. Hiss!!!!!!!!
