We’re back - who will leave us tonight? Before I begin I want to wish Bridget a speedy recovery. She will be posting her results blog tomorrow b/c she has a concussion. Hope you are feeling better, Bridget!

Samantha’s dress actually looks good tonight, but I am not digging her hair - slicked back on top and it is high. Tom always looks smashing. The stars are all standing around in their group dance gear which means the encore dance is the group dance. Lance Bass and Lacey Schwimmer were robbed of the encore dance. We are now getting recaps mixed with backstage confessionals. If anything is worthy of reporting I will report it.

Seems like everyone likes Michael Flatley who will be performing tonight or “burning up the dance floor” as Tom said. Oh joy! Susan Lucci is overated and will be in danger of going tonight - for sure.  She is happy that the judges told her she broke out of the box. Yeah whatever - she didn’t. Getting a close up on Julianne’s hair and it was so nappy last night - ick. Speaking of nappy hair - I hope Lance doesn’t have his mullett hair tonight or I might puke in my mouth, swallow it, and puke it up again. Ewww - he has his mullett hair and I am puking. Brooke looks sooo cute in her 80’s old skool rap gear - I didn’t really pay attention last night. Anyways - more Michael Flatley and how dramatic his performance will be. Yawn - I’m sure it will be just as dramatic as last weeks Macy’s production that was supposed to be the biggest thing since sliced bread - it wasn’t.

We’re back and the encore dance is the group hip hop just as expected and the beat boxer at the beginning started before the announcer had time to finish announcing. Oh my word, Susan Lucci is worse than ever tonight. She can’t even keep up with the steps. EmbarrASSing. Lance is in his element for sure. I seem to be noticing more tonight than last night. Oh and the beatboxer at the beginning was our very own Cody Linley - I didn’t realize. Cloris ended with a nasty, nasty face - ick! Looks like she was even missing some teeth or possibly had a grill in - I couldn’t tell. I was fun though - I liked it alot! More recaps with the leaderboard and backstage confessionals - more icky hair from Julianne and now we are gonna see who is safe.

First 2 couples that are safe are: Lance Bass and Lacey Schwimmer - WOOT! And Cloris is missing teeth. Joining them is Cody Linley (Julianne is missing). Cody will be partnered with Edtya next week. I miss Julianne already. Let’s hope she is back in a week as planned.

More kiddie dancing - first couple is Samantha and Craig who are brother and sister. Apparently Samantha is a little diva which is scary already at her age. They dance the cha cha cha and I already know the crowd and judges will love it and one kiddie couple will get one vote from the judges so they don’t feel bad. Yes, same format every single Wednesday. Second kiddie couple is Simon and Lucy and they practice every single day of the year. Um, do you have any type of kiddie life? They dance the Samba and everyone will love it. How do I know this? I just do. Judges decide that Craig and Samantha move on and wow with Michael Flatley he didn’t abide by the rules where he gives 1 kiddie couple his vote as to not make them feel bad. Oops - I’m guessing not everyone likes Michael Flatley now.

Special guests The Pussycat Dolls and Missy Elliott perform tonight - yayyy I’m so excited - NOT! They are dressed as skanks and ho’s - not at all sexy more trashy if you ask me. They do have nice Bally’s bodies.  Here comes Missy with a huge ass gold microphone. She’s sportin sparkly sweats. I guess that is appropriate rapper wear. I was NOT impressed at this trashy, skanky performance.

Samantha is backstage with the saved couples. Apparently Julianne had her surgery today. Edyta is standing with Cody and both are excited to be dancing together. Cody said that Julianne got through the surgery successfully and is at home resting. Good to know! Samantha said something about a team dance and honestly I don’t know what that is. Lance hinting about getting judged as a group so not sure what that even is. I’m surprised they left us out of the dark on that one, but I hate them bringing up stuff that we don’t already know about.  Tom tried to make a funny about Julianne and it was NOT funny - something about an ironman triathalon. Didn’t get it. Wasn’t funny. Anyways…

Next saved couple is Warren Sapp and Kym Johnson to which Tom said “he’ll have another chance to hit me in the head” referring to Warren hitting him in the head last night as he was trying to stop Carrie Ann from flirting with Warren. I think Warren and C.A. have something secretly slutty going on behind the scenes if ya know what I mean. LOL! Warren, you are too nice for Carrie Ann. She will eat you alive.

Ok, Michael Flatley is doing his thing now - his fiery dance and I am not looking forward to it. I might have to Fast Forward through it.  He is behind a red screen so all we see is his tap dancing black shadow. Kind of a cool look going on here so not bad so far. Sirens start blaring as do the red lights and here is where it gets Lord of the Dance-ish which isn’t my style. He’s up on a platform self indulging his tapping skills while the floor smolders around here aka dry ice. There is no music during this part so it is wayyyy self indulgent and the red screen has disappeared. Now the outside of his little platform is on fire and he is a tap dancing fool in the middle. He jumps off and a small fiery bomb goes off and the crowd is in their feet. Ok, this wasn’t as bad as last week’s Macy’s where I felt let down. It was ok and I say ok b/c I’m not a huge Michael Flatley fan. I have nothing against him as a man and I think he is talented - I just don’t like the dancing style he is involved with that’s all.

Ok, moving on - taped package of “professionals” talking about the physical, mental, and emotional game that the stars have to master. They talk about what it takes to get to the end of the competition. Booooooorinnnngggg!  They disect the stars in what they need to work on.

Next saved couple is Brooke Burke and Derek Hough. Awkward moment where they focused on Susan and Tony stating they are still in jeopardy - I guess telling them they are the bottom 2. Cloris and Corky are also in danger. That means Maurice Greene and Cheryl Burke are safe. Will Cloris finally leave us tonight? I will say that my prediction last night was spot on - no suprises at the bottom 2. Ohhh..I’m soooo good. Also, Tom says that the both couples in danger aren’t necessarily in the bottom 2. I hate it when they do that.

Ok, leaving us tonight after the suspense music is…….Cloris Leachman and Corky Ballas. ‘Bout time!!!!!!!! Everyone who doubted she’d be leaving or who didn’t want her to leave - BITE ME! She deserved to leave. She is not a good dancer - others are better than her and deserved to stay. Was Susan better than her? Not last night, but in the past she has been better than Cloris. Did Cloris try to dance? Sure - she tried, but not in the first week, but she tried and I did see some dancing, but frankly it was NOT good enough and therefore she deserved to go. Everyone sits on the floor (Sam., Tom, Corky, and Cloris) as they talk. Cloris said she is not leaving - she will be there next week with a pretty costume and Tom pointed to the chairs in the audience - yes, she belongs in the audience. ‘Bout Time! ‘Bout Time! I am one happy DWTS blogger!

well, give the old girl credit for lasting this long. I will miss her. She gave the show lots of fun and humor. Susan did a terrible job in the group dance and I really hope she is the next to go. I will miss Cloris but at least she will be in the audience!!

  2. Jo-Anne Says:

Hmmmm, so the bad luck of the dancers has rubbed off on Bridget….will she have to give up her dancing ways??? stay tuned to find out :)

  3. DWTS Says:

I love how Tony says to Melissa “do you know how long it’s been since I’ve seen a nine?” after Carrie shows her paddle. LOL! He must be thrilled to have a talented partner.
