They really play off the drama of last night especially Marie’s fall. I knew it. Marie was all over the news today because of her fall. That could be good for her in getting votes. Let’s hope not. She really is not growing as a dancer and for once Bridget and I agree.
Yep, I saw the lift on Cameron’s dance. Edyta’s foot came off in the spin. They replayed it tonight and I saw what Bridget saw. You were right on, Bridge. We agree again.
Helio and Julianne were so freakin cute in the confessional. I could just bundle them up, put them in a bowl and eat them with a spoon. Not literally of course. I soooo want them to do well in this competition possibly be there at the end. I hope the fans were able to pull them through after last nights dismal scores from the judges. I know I voted for Helio several times.
Maks and Mel’s confessional was cute too. She commented that they received 2 10’s and all Maks had to say was “I got to meet the Spice Girls!” Mel asked if she is still his favorite and he hestitated and said “yes, you are my favorite” as if he was being bullied into answering that way.
In Marie’s confessional she said “Well at least on a few people saw it.” LOL! We got to see more behind the scenes drama with her fainting. She got up and took a graceful bow. That’s one classy lady right there. I feel for her because I’ve fainted lots too and inappropriate places. It isn’t fun and can be rather embarrassing. You just lose all control of your body and it just goes downhill from there.
Ohhhh nooo, one more thing for Bridget to hate Cameron about. They just admitted in their confessional that they got a 26 WITH A LIFT! They kept saying “With a lift!” It just seems like they are bragging and gloating about it. Edyta asked what their score would be without a lift and he blurts out 30 without even thinking. Is that confidence or cockiness? Hmmm…you decide.
Len looks awesome in his purple shirt, tie, and pocket handkerchief. I love his look tonight and it helps that my favorite color is purple. He told us that they were choosing Mel and Maks to do the encore. No surprise there. They were my favorite couple last night. I guess I didn’t notice it too much last night but those neon pink and yellow stripes on Maks’ shirt and those neon flags hanging from her dress are a little gaudy. They don’t go with the tan outfit at all. Not my favorite by any means.
Yayyy, it’s time to see the “baby bump”. Jennifer Lopez performs “Do It Well” tonight. She always gives a good show. And tonight there were fireworks to boot. I must admit I don’t see a baby bump at first glance. She has a nice shawl draped down her hiding her belly. During her dance piece I did see somewhat of a bump, but it wasn’t very big, plus she was dancing in high heeled boots. They weren’t stilettos, but still higher than average boots. I guess that is nothing though and what do I know? I’ve never been preggers. I’m sure, though, we’ll find some still shots later on on the internet showing the baby bump from tonight’s show. You know I’ll be looking. I’ll post em if I can find some. Oh, and she did well tonight. I always love Jennifer Lopez and her performances. Sorry, Jenny from the block, I didn’t devote much of your paragraph to your performance. I have to talk about what’s hot and what is hot is your baby bump. Is it or isn’t it a baby bump? We’ll find out.
Moving right along to audience comments. Carlton from Fresh Prince of Bel aka Alfonso Ribeiro Air said it was “a little crazy with Marie going down.” Heather Mills, Season 4 Contestant, thought it was a joke at first. She thought it was really scary. And Bridget you were right, Carol Brady was there and she got interviewed. I guess she is just there to watch and not to plug. Of course the audience wants Mark and Sabrina to be in love. Some lady’s said Mark Cuban needs to go home that it is time to get serious. As I stated Tori Spelling was there with her hubby Dean. They have a reality show called Inn Love. I’ve seen a few eps. It’s kinda funny. They showed Tori only commenting on Mel B. and not her 90210 alum, Jennie Garth. That’s disappointing.
First couple safe was Sabrina and Mark. Mel and Maks were revealed as the 2nd couple saved. Jennie Garth needs to stop doing stuff with her mouth and teeth. I always catch her doing just weird things. She’s a beautiful girl just stop doing weird mouth stuff. Take some lessons from Mark Cuban would ya?
We get to see a group dance next week with our stars. Yayyy! Tonight we get to see a group dance by Christian Perry. I’m not sure who that is, but hopefully I spelled his name right. We got to see tons of lifts and lots of fast dancing by this group of unknowns. One lady’s hair is spiked and I must say that it is not very becoming AT ALL. That was so 80’s. Oh yeah, the 80’s are coming back. I know this by going into Target and asking where the leg warmers were and they looked at me like it is an everyday thing and said and pointed to “Hosiery.” ahhh, so that’s where they keep those things these days. And why was I getting leg warmers? I was going to an 80’s costume party that’s why. Duh! Anyways, I used the group dance to blog about 80’s fashions which I guess that means the group dance wasn’t too exciting. Yep, that’s right, it wasn’t. Too punk rock for me.
Jenni from the block is back singing “Let’s Get Loud!” We get to see Karina, Julianne, Edyta, and Cheryl dancing some hot number. We get to see Edyta dance with real life hubby Alec which she usually does in couples dancing on the show. We also got to see Derek dance with his sister Julianne Hough. That was pretty cute. If you read the bios that I have posted when you click on the couples icon along the left you’ll see that not only did Julianne and Derek grow up dancing together, but so did Mark Ballas. They all studied together in London under Mark Ballas’ parents.. Wow, we got to see Alec do the splits between Edyta’s legs. Ouchy, but it looked awesome. Dang, I really liked this group dance. It’s fun, sassy, and full of fast hip action. It was awesome and I could barely take my eyes off of it to blog. Oh and back to Jennie from the block’s baby bump. It was obvious she was covering up. Her legs still look hot though. Heck, she still looks amazing everywhere.
Now we get to see behind the scenes footage of the actual choreography that goes into the dance. I always wondered how these professional dancers could come up with a dance so quickly. The professional dancers communicate the pressure that they go through. Julianne talks about how it takes so much out of her life to where she is constantly thinking up steps even before bed. Heck, I bet she dreams up steps during sleep. Kym Johnson states that as soon as she gets her music she likes to go off by herself so she can focus on the steps and music before she presents it to Mark. Edyta has to listen to the music like 50 times before she comes up with something. Maks doesn’t like to choreograph ahead of time. He gets the music, goes into the studio with his celebrity and choreographs right on the spot. Mark states he normally gets a routine together in an hour, but on more complicated dances they choreograph right up to the last minute. Julianne likes to have a big beginning, a strong middle, and end big which is probably what everyone else wants too. Derek likes to take chances and feels it is necessary to push the envelope. Maks’ style is more about the relationship between the man and the woman. Tony makes sure he shows off his student and not himself. Kym Johnson does the same thing to where she appeals to the celebrities strong points. Overall the professional dancers said the same thing to where they strive to find a balance between pleasing the judges as well as the crowd. That can be quite the task as I can imagine. Or maybe I can’t imagine. LOL!
Cameron and Edyta were revealed as the next saved couple. I’m sure Bridget was collapsing on the floor quite like Marie when this was revealed. I’m not surprised. They didn’t do too bad last night.
Oh I will take this time to mention that earlier in the evening Tom Bergeron said “LIVE!” really dramatically and my fiance turned to me laughing saying, “He sounded just like guy smiley.” I was quietly giggling before he even said anything. But seriously, IT DID! It was way over the top to say “LIVE” like stating the show is live. WELL DUH! Oh, and are you wondering why I am taking this time to blog about nonsense stuff that doesn’t even matter? Well, Samantha is stammering in the background again not making much sense. Why don’t you sppppiiiit is out, Samantha. Carol Brady needs to bring her an episode of the Brady Bunch where Cindy was made fun of for stuttering. Remember? Baby Talk, Baby Talk, It’s a wonder you can Walk. Check out the Brady Brunch re-runs on Nick at Night. There, Carol got her plug.
Next we get to see a taped package about the stress between the celebrities day jobs and DWTS. Of course Cameron was interviewed first b/c being a soap star is sooo time consuming. Jennie Garth tells us everyone’s schedule: Sabrina performing with the Cheetah Girls every weekend, Cameron doing his soap in NY, Mel B. with the Spice Girls tour, Helio with his races, Marie is releasing a new album, Jane with her arts and acting, Jennie with her 3 children, and Mark with his million dollar empire to run. Then we see the dancers getting picked on in practice and all the stress that is put on them. We are left with a pep talk from the dancers in how they will do whatever it takes to win. I love how they end it on a positive note.
Ok, next saved couple are Jennie and Derek. She held Derek’s hand on her shoulder while it was revealed. Mark and Kym were revealed to be in the bottom 2. They got the dreaded red light. Who is still left? Helio Castroneves and Julianne Hough, Marie Osmond and Jonathon Roberts, as well as Jane Seymour and Tony Dovolani. Please don’t let Helio be in the bottom two. It has me wondering since Marie fainted and all. That could have played upon people’s emotions to make sure she stayed in to redeem herself or people felt sorry for her. I hope not though.
Next saved couple were Marie and Jonathon. Tom shouted “Don’t faint” when it was revealed. LOL! Then Tom said “And joining them avoiding the bottom 2 are: Helio and Julianne!” They looked at each other and said what does that mean? We got a delayed reaction because when they revealed that Helio and Julianne were safe they played the music that goes with the red light so that left me along with everyone else including Julianne and Helio whether they were safe or not. But, don’t fret, they were SAFE! My mom will sooo love that. So what that means is that Jane and Tony were in the bottom 2.
Leaving tonight were Mark and Kym. He was congratulatory to Jane and Tony. He looked visibly upset and he received a standing ovation. He said he lost 30 some pounds and gained so many new friends and just an amazing experience. Kym told him she is going to miss him and just had a great time with him and his family. I’m not surprised that Mark went. It was obviously his time to go.
